Comparison between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump
After every four years, American voters elect the president of their choice to lead the government. Voters are expected to turn up in large numbers and exercise their democratic right. Elections in America are critical because they determine how the country will be run and ultimately the future of the nation. It is always an historic moment as the rest of the world waits to see the outcome of the elections. Indeed, America has been known as the free nation where democracy prevails. This year, it is going to be either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. After successfully winning nominations to be flag bearers for their parties, both candidates are doing their best to win the American voters. However, it is surprising that both the two candidates have negative ratings more than any other previous candidates (Page). Both Clinton and Trump have been facing legal controversies that make the American people lose confidence in the whole process. But despite their shortcomings, these year’s presidential elections would be unique where if elected Clinton would be the first female president while Trump the first president who had no previous experience either in the government of the military.
This has led to television debates on who will win the election and many campaign advertisements especially through the social media. The voters have a lot of information to deal with before deciding who to vote for (Opposing Views).
This years presidential election might be the closest in US history! Donald Trump is the Republican candidate. He received 13.3 million votes in the primary election. Hillary Clinton is the Democratic candidate. She received 15.6 million votes in the primary election. This presidential election is very close in votes and either way could cause doom for America.
On Tuesday November 9th 2016, Donald Trump was elected president of the United States of America. Mr. Trump was an unlikely and underestimated candidate, not only by the Republican party he associates with but his Democratic rival and what half of the population. He is politically inexperienced and ran his campaign capitalizing on the nation’s economic concerns and fears. His racial remarks and sexual assault allegations seemed to be overlooked by voters and seemed to benefit him due to the racial tensions arising in our nation. He was elected into the highest position possible, President of the free world. His rise in popularity was largely missed by polling organizations and data experts. In this paper I am going to examine the main reasons
In 2016, the United States is observing the start of the presidential campaigns of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump. In my lifetime, I have not observed a more polarizing election for our country. The populace of this nation may be more divided than any in the history of United States politics. Depending on where you stand in your political values, the choice of who will run this country for the next four years could be devastating. On November 8, 2016, the people will make a decision that, for better or worse, will not only decide the national leadership but will affect our foreign policy as well.
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are two opposite electoral candidates. Donald Trump is a democrat and Hillary Clinton is a republican. The 2016 Presidential Election has been filled with large amount of controversy and drama. The two candidates, Hillary Clinton for the democratic party, and Donald Trump for the Republican party, each have a list of questionable acts. The two come from different walks of life and both have different views on how America could better herself. As voting time approaches it is time to look at all our candidates have given us so that a decision can be reached. By going back into their backgrounds, considering their proposed policies, and who has been funding their campaign, the most suitable candidate should be uncovered.
Many people say that the democratic party only has two possible candidates. Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. People say that they will make America great again but actually they will not. There are several reasons why their presidential plans for this country are going to fail. They both have horrible plans and do not have the right to be president here’s why.
Both Hillary and Donald have some views that are similar, but also some that are very different. I guess that in the end, it’s up to the voter to decide which is the best for the nation, but with both sides, there should be an opinion that makes more sense for the happiness and safety of our great nation. Take gun control for example, with the recent school shooting at an elementary school in South Carolina, this is an urgent conversation for our country. Trump has said that if he becomes commander-in-chief, he won’t touch gun control, saying that every American has their second amendment right, and he will punish the criminals that use the weapons in a harmful manner more harshly. But wouldn’t it be easier if you stopped the crime at the source? If Clinton is announced president, she says she will expand background checks for those who want to buy a gun, revoke gun dealing licences from those who sell guns illegally, and work to keep guns out of the hands of violent criminals, the mentally ill, and domestic abusers. If this plan succeeds, there will be significant decrease in violent crimes, like gang activity, terrorist attacks, and even school shootings due to the process of owning the gun becoming a longer and more in-depth process. Think about it like this, If you wanted to get rid of the pesky wasps that fly around your home during the summer, for instance, would you kill each wasp one by one, or would you go straight for the
Who would you vote for Hilary Clinton or Donald Trump? You may have already made up your mind or may even be still trying to decide. I’ll tell you that they are both good candidates but each one has their ups and downs. I will cover such topics as who’s been in office before and who hasn’t all the way to their views on different political issues.
With the 2016 Presidential Election approaching, the citizens of the United States of America have chosen Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump as presidential candidates. The two competitors have been receiving quite a lot of attention from the media, exposing the controversies that they have been involved in. Some voters will focus on and base their votes off of these controversies rather than how each candidate will handle the United States’ problems. However, it is essential for voters to be aware of what each nominee will work towards in their four years of having power over our nation. The people should be informed of the stance of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on the important issues that affect them and the country. By being knowledgeable about each candidate’s vision for America, voters will be able to analyze the pair of nominees and the actions that they will take to advance the U.S.
Hillary would have been a better choice for president than Trump because she has a better image and she is more qualified to be president than Trump.
With the upcoming presidential election, there are many candidates seeking America’s vote. Among these candidates are Senator Bernie Sanders and businessman Donald Trump. Sanders is seeking the Democratic nomination, while Trump is seeking the Republican. These two front-runners stand out as being rather unconventional, each in their own respect. Sanders has an independent background and is gaining popularity with his democratic-socialist ideas. Whereas Trump is sparking controversy with his outlandish views and personal attacks on other candidates. Both men are popular contenders backed by passionate supporters. But if the election comes down to Sanders and Trump, which candidate will make the better President?

Election season is here and there are some difficult decisions for voters to make. Personally, this researcher finds both of the potential candidates – Clinton and Trump – unfit to lead our country, and would prefer to vote for a third party candidate. However, this researcher believes a third party candidate will not win and would much rather vote for the lesser of the two evils, hopefully keeping the worst possible candidate out of office. Based on this conviction, the republican candidate – Donald Trump – appears to be the lesser evil out of the two presidential candidates.
The Trump vs Clinton election of 2016 was one of the most controversial elections in the history of the United States. Throughout the course of this election, many candidates were referred to as “unqualified” to run for president. Trump is deemed unqualified due to his lack of political or military experience, according to the Brennan Center for Justice. Although Clinton has had a lot of past military experience, she is deemed unqualified for not “being good at” her jobs (The Federalist). These two highly contradictory reasons for assuming that both candidates are unqualified began to create a harsh division in the United States of America.
