Some people might fantisfy how the world could be in the future: would it be better or worse? The novel “Brave New World” by Aldous Huxley is a dystopian novel set in 2540 A.D., or in other words, the future. It introduces similar concepts to the modern day that would, in effect, “make the world better” in the book. Also, a correlation is found between the novel’s World State and today’s ISIS caliphate. In addition, there may even be several ideas by the World State that would be beneficial to the world we live in today. In “Brave New World” there are countless technologies used to control society. Their motto for the world is “Community, Identity, and Stability”. In our modern world, ISIS has their own motto “Remaining and Expanding”. Their methods and views might differ but their aim is indistinguishable: stability. ISIS is looking to create a world system and start their New World Order, their own caliphate. A concept I find enviable to have in our world from the novel is how they don’t have wars, suffering, or diseases. It would be so beneficial to us if all wars ended and we had no suffering but that would mean implementing everything the World State has. Although in “Brave New World” they still had small wars however they maintained within the Savage Reservation. The novel’s concepts and technologies has its ups and
