Man, has forever tried to push the limits of his capabilities through technology and innovation. It is this struggle that has brought us to this era where a technological revolution continuously tries to reduce the struggles and complexity is his life or the life of other men. In many ways, I too have benefitted from the labors of other man. But now wish to play my part in the above transformation. Even though my work may be inconsequential in nature if it can help at least one other person other than myself I would be immensely delighted. To achieve the above objective I, choose Computer Science as my major as an undergraduate student at Florida Institute of Technology. Throughout my career as an undergraduate student I too have continuously challenged what I could do in my field and now. And now as I have ended my undergraduate studies, it is my central goal to continue my education in a more challenging and competitive environment. It is to serve the above purpose that I wish to apply to the Computer Science department at prestigious university to pursue a Master’s degree in Computer Science. Throughout my former career as an undergraduate student at Florida Institute of Technology namely with Prof. Marius Silaghi and Prof. Philip Chen in the areas of Network Security and Data mining respectively. Through the above research opportunities, I could have a glimpse on what was happening in the respective fields. Under Prof. Chen I worked on a predictive model that estimates
The field of computer science continues to grow in popularity and demand. I believe that computers are the future, and by studying computer science and entering a field in high demand, I am paving the path for my success. My interest in computer science and programming was brought out by my older brothers, who both major in computer science. My brothers often offer me challenges to complete and program, and I like to challenge myself. As the younger brother, I am constantly looking up to them, and their success and love for the subject have been passed down to me.
Matthew is a conscientious, hard-working student. He has been very dedicated this year to learning each topic in the course especially programming. This level of commitment will no doubt give great dividends in the future. He is very good at meeting deadlines, and he always does his work to a high standard. All he needs now to gain endorsement in this subject is complete the externally marked Computer Science report to a high standard.
My studies in computer studies over the past few days had me discontented in the beginning and joyous with a shared determination by Saturday afternoon. I opened the learning guide for the weeks working session starting June 25 and ending July 1st for a quick glance of the topics and the requirements for successfully completing this unit work. From the onset, when I viewed the assignment, I asked myself what made me choose this course so early. I began doubting myself and my true potential without reading the full details and the literature associated with it. Off course this will not help me complete this assignment.
The academics are about personal achievement, cutting-edge discovery, and community involvement, with students and lifelong learners selecting from a stunningly diverse array of possibilities, and that is more than enough to attract me. One academic major that I am especially interested in joining is Computer Science, a major that is shared throughout all three campus locations. There are a few factors that determine my choice for this major, one which is my prominent interest in math, a subject in which I believed do very remarkable in. As someone who enjoys math, I take pleasure in performing mental challenges and analyzing problems in order to solve them. Not only that, but I am yearning to observe how deep my passion for technology will bring me into learning in the Computer Science Major. No matter how challenging the course may be or how difficult it is to comprehend at first, nothing is impossible and will not stop me from my way of benefiting others around
When I go to the University of North Carolina Asheville, I will bring with me a curiosity that only those who make the biggest technological breakthroughs in the world possess. Throughout my life I have had the opportunity to grow and adapt with technology as it becomes one of the biggest markets in the world. At the young age of ten, I was introduced to the computer world. I was immediately intrigued and found one of the many passions I would come to find. This is just the beginning of my future.
Throughout my educational journey, I constantly hone my knowledge in computer science. There is not a day where I did not polish my skills.
Computer Science is a rapidly growing field, not only in the US but all over the world. Through a semester abroad I hope to learn more about the world as well as how CS is growing overseas. Father Nicolás addressed how technology has increased the stresses access to information as fast as possible, over the quality of the information.
Major in Computer Science could allow me to do many things. For example, many gamers had been thirst for better games, and I could use my knowledge to make better games for them. I have played a lot of games, and I understand how important is teamwork. I could use the teamwork skill I learned in games in work to produce better products. When I’m reading from the websites, I always look for the use of vocabulary. The United States is an immigrant country , and many non-native english speakers do not understand the “big words.” Learning English was hard, and continue educational and career goals will require higher understanding of English. I believe English will benefit me the most toward my educational and career goals. Overall, I think the
This selection is the perfect opportunity to learn a different language in the field of computer systems and programming. One who opens his mind to the design of software can explore the scientific way in which humans and computers interact. As a combination of graphic design and computer science, this program builds teamwork skills with other students while developing software and solving problems. Although the Computer Science Challenge’s essential lesson is programming, students can familiarize themselves with the secrets of the computer in preparation of careers that require no programming at
While majoring in computer science will give me many number of job choices, I have the goal of becoming a software engineer and maybe owning my own business in the field of computer science. I already have a strong passion for programming and I feel that majoring in computer science will only feed my passion even more. I also have a desire to start my own business that is involved with computer science. I know that these goals are hard to achieve, but I know I will work hard and work intelligently to obtain my
Computer science has changed the way we live our lives in many ways. From layman to professionals, computer science has touched everybody’s lives in some way or the other. Computer engineers strive to make our life faster, easier and more organized. The words of Steve Ballmer aptly sum up the vital importance of the sector today - ‘The number one benefit of information technology is that it empowers people to do what they want to do. It lets people be creative. It lets people be productive. It lets people learn things they didn't think they could learn before, and so in a sense it is all about potential.’ I feel privileged to be a part of this community that plays a major role in advancements of human lives. From being a jargon of the professionals in the past, computers and technology have now become the buzzword of every field – whether it is entertainment, business, production or medicine, computers are everywhere, making people’s jobs much easier and the end results of their efforts more reliable. In India particularly, the landscape of development in the last three decades has definitely been dominated by the IT sector. The sector has generated employment, created a new cadre of professionals, and placed India firmly on the world map. I believe that aspiring professionals from this sector will continue to have a definite role to play in India’s immediate future.
Monmouth University offers students the choice of Software Engineering, Computer Science, and Informational Technology when it comes to studies involving computing. It is universally agreeable that with the advent of Computer technology, every ambitious and enthusiastic individual is really obsessed with the idea of doing computer science at graduate level because it seems to have created a zeal and enthusiasm in the hearts of youth, particularly those who aspire to be marked as high achievers. I, for one, seem to have been enchanted by these computer applications as they have made the world smaller, speaking in terms of globalization. I have no hesitation to add that core computerization alone is the suitable answer to all the areas unexploited and to the areas waiting for development. It has always been a fascination for me about how computers work, how these applications are designed and what can be the newer ways to explore the world of computers to make our world better. This interest became a passion for me when I was exposed to computer science basics, during my middle school. Pursuing computer science engineering at undergraduate level, further propelled my passion for computer science along with providing me a deeper insight and in-depth understanding of the subject. After completing my under graduation in Computer Science, I am willing to expedite my research interest and a masters degree seemed the most appropriate choice for realizing my aspirations.
