“We are the superior spirits of the Almighty: I, Alpha, the ruler of the beginning, the past, and the future; I, Omega, the ruler of the future and of the death, and promulgator of the thoughts of the
Almighty. We are speaking to you, the nations of the Earth, in the name of the Almighty. “Once, in the vacuum of the universe, there was only the immaterial spirit of the Almighty. The Almighty and matter—a motionless and dense fog filled endless space. Motionless matter with inert energy filled the universe. An overwhelming peaceful- ness and intolerable silence ruled the world. This peacefulness and silence had no beginning and no end. This peacefulness had no direction and no plan. It was hostile and unbearable to the living

“Despondent, the Almighty in a fit of impatience smashed the world of matter. A cosmic storm broke out. The matter surged and moved. The sleeping energy in the matter became loose, and in the space of the world a whirlwind of matter started to spin. Matter started to change. Once started, the matter was unable to stop or calm down. Fields of mist arose. They condensed more and more, and your so-called suns were created. They hurtled through space at tremendous speeds. They collided with each other, creating gigantic fires in the universe. They separated in the space of the universe, but behind them new small stars and suns were left, which cooled off and became dense and dark. In that way the planets were created. “The Almighty conformed the matter to His laws and started to investigate and mold this world. As helpers to Him, and in order not to be alone, He created spirits from His spirit, but He did not reach His second goal. He still remained lonely, because His cre- ated spirits were the same as Himself, only divided into many frac- tions. Imagine, if you can, that you are able to divide yourself into many fractions—would that save you from loneliness? Every part of you would think, talk, and do what you would do. You would
Scientists are not certain how the universe evolved after the big bang. Many believe that as time passed and matter cooled, more diverse kinds of atoms began to form, and they eventually condensed into the stars and galaxies of our present universe, (Borner, 1993). Planets may have formed as a result of a supernova blast. Planets that existed before the supernova were destroyed. Any planets that had survived the explosion were left behind as free-floating objects. Planets found around pulsars, remnants of the supernova explosion, formed as a result of pre-existing stellar companions. In addition, planets may form in an accretion disk of fallback matter surrounding a pulsar, (Williams, 2014).
God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. He separated the light from the darkness he called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” God called the vault “sky.” God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered to one place, and let dry ground appear.” God called the dry ground “land,” and the gathered waters he called “seas.” Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.” God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. God said, “Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the vault of the sky.” So God created the great creatures of the sea and every living thing with which the water teems and that moves about in it. God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth.” God said, “Let the land produce living creatures according to their
He has scaled the mountains of ignorance, he is about to conquer the highest peak: as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries.”[v] Though Jastrow treats the issue as settled and declares that scientists have finally been “defeated,” it is too early to reach any judgements on the implications the new cosmology has for both science and religion. Our image of the origin of the universe is not yet complete and further investigations must be conducted before the towel is thrown in. Science has still much to offer to help us understand how the universe came to be. Therefore, let us now attempt to solve the cosmic mystery of creation by referring to the great scientific minds as our guide. Let us now rewind the story of the big bang and look into the origins of the universe.
Then Hermes saw an amazing sight. Infinite space and the starry heaven enveloped him in seven luminous spheres. In a single glance Hermes saw the seven heavens above him like seven transparent, concentric globes, whose sidereal center he occupied. The last had the Milky Way as an enclosure. In each sphere a planet with a Genius of different form, sign and light revolved. While the awestruck Hermes viewed their scattered efflorescence and their majestic movements, the voice said to him:
This small lesson teaches us that loneliness is not just sitting by yourself at a lunch table or staying at home on a Friday night, but it can also come from a state of feeling misunderstood and underappreciated no matter how many people you keep in your
“It is possible that these millions of suns, along with thousands of millions more we cannot see, make up all together but a globule of blood or lymph in the veins of an animal, of a minute insect, hatched in a world of whose vastness we can frame no conception, but which nevertheless would itself, in proportion to some other world, be no more than a speck of dust,” Anatole France, The Garden of Epicurus.
And so, with the agreement, the four called the world Earth, and watched as their creation evolved into more than what they could even think of, seeing pride in their mortals’ own creations. They became filled with pride each time they were reminded of their children’s progress, and watched as new conflicts arose, and die out just as quickly. Though the four knew their creations may never know of their creator’s true existence, they didn’t care.
The idea of peace is commonly categorised into two main branches, inner peace and world peace. Both branches have differentiating purposes and goals, however in many cases have the potential to interconnect and greatly influence one another. Inner peace refers to the presence of mindfulness, a state of calmness, security and a spiritual state of being with the
Most of the people and scientists believe that there was nothing before creation and there was darkness. Previous studies reveal that there was something and nothing is lie. There waas something behind nothing. The religious believe that there was existence of God but they have question at the same time that if there is God behind the creation then what before God? The next question which rises in the mind of people is that if God has created Universe then why did not he create before? Nothing is forever while everything got destroyed and will be destroyed. There will be nothing at universe one day and it will revert as it was before. But different religion shows that the only thing which is eternal is God and Heaven. If we study science, the scientists claim that creation was accidental and was created due to exploitation of star. The religious people believe that it was planned. Different religions have different myths. The concept of heaven and hell also exists that God has created Heaven and then created Universe. There is no one who is responsible for creation while God as per religious people belong to different religion. He has created this universe while some scantiest believe that it has been created accidently. It is stated that as per bible and books of other religion, heaven was
Finally there was light! Okay but what about that part we didn’t talk about? What happened at the beginning? This part can be defined as the big bang. We don’t know at all what happened here; at this point our tools break down. Natural laws stop making sense, time itself becomes wibbly-wobbly. To understand what happened here, we need a theory the unifies Einstein’s relativity and quantum mechanics, something countless scientist are working on right now. But this leaves us with lots of unanswered questions. Were there universes before our own? Is this the first and only universe? What started the big bang, or did it occur naturally based on laws that we don’t understand yet? We don’t know, and maybe we never will. But what we don know is that the universe as we know it started here and gave birth to particles, galaxies, stars, the earth, and you. Since we ourselves are made of dead stars, we are not separate from the universe; we are part of it. You could even say that we are the universe’s way of experiencing itself. So lets keep on experiencing it, until there are know more questions to
Before time and earth had formed there was only dark swirling chaos that had a name called ‘’Nu’’ out rose the creator Atum, had created himself through his thoughts and the force of his will, Atum created a hill where he could stand Atum was alone in the world Atum had an all seeing eye that could roam the universe Atum. joined with his shadow to have a son and a daughter ‘’Atum gave birth to his son by spitting him out Atum named his son Shu and made him the god of air Atum vomited up his daughter and named her Tefnut and made the god of mist and moisture’’ Atum's children where given the task of separating chaos into order, law and stability this order was made into the order of Maat Geb the earth and nut the sky where first tangled together
Creative Response to the Hindu Creation Myth How were we created? How was the universe created? What happens after we die? These questions are some of the most important questions that we still have yet to answer. Religion helps explain their perspective about these questions and give elaborate stories to share amongst generations.
In its existence, the universe has been in a continuous cycle of creation, devastation and re-creation. There is no starting, or a conclusion to the cycle, nor did it have a starting and nor will it ever end. Every single physical item and energy is made and obliterated in an always equal sum. At a certain point in this 'Cycle of the Universe ' two gods, Unga and Mortis were reawakened. By their own particular qualities and convictions the number 2 was very sacred, thus when they started building their kingdom of light they manufactured everything in sets of contrary energies: the zones of domain being the sky and the earth and the strengths that permit sight being Light and Darkness as samples. Unga was a god of happiness, light, and took pride in what he can accomplish. Mortis was the exact opposite; however, he did take delight in destroying what Unga creates. The two Gods had feelings and psychology as we do, thus they got to be extremely bored without a threat or issue to succeed. Be that as it may, as a result of these feelings they felt curious and elated towards the almost empty universe around them. Thus the two gods started making a complete universe of delight and satisfaction that was without destruction and evil. They chose to make a planet that they would share together. This planet would have the capacity to bolster life for a large number of years to come. At first Unga made the components of earth, which were composed of fire, wind, water and energy while
In the beginning God create the heavens and the earth. At the time the earth was like a void, darkness everywhere consuming the planet, and God said four words, “and let there be light.” Then there on that planet earth God separated light from dark. He blessed the light and called the light day, and he cursed the dark and called it night. The second day has arrived. God then said the waters from waters, and called to the expansion of heaven. The third day came. God wanted to fill the gap in the water, so God created dry land, and made the gathered water seas. Now he said there should be vegetation on the earth. The third day has passed. God said let there is the expansion of time telling from the seasons, and let there be light at night
In the beginning there was utter darkness. Nothing but possibilities and energy drifting through endless space. A supreme being presided over space with his host of holy angels. His title was God and he possessed the power to do anything no matter how mighty or small. These powerful beings, preceded all time and space as we know it. Gd and these angels eventually grew weary of existing without anything to govern or watch. So God devised a plan. He would create a second, inferior kingdom to rule over, making beings separate from the angels and himself. With his ultimate power, God created a universe in seven days. The first day, God created the heavens and an earth. Now, the earth was covered with darkness and God said,”Let there be light.” and there was light. He named the light “day”, and the darkness he called “night”. The second day, God separated the waters and space. Calling the water”seas” and this space he called the “sky”. On the fourth day, God made two great lights in the sky. The greater light governed the day and the lesser governed the night. He also created stars to company the two celestial bodies. Soon the fifth day came and God created fish and birds of all kinds to fill the seas and sky with life. The sixth day he created all creatures of the land blessing them and saying,”Be fruitful and multiply in numbers.” God saved his most valuable creation for last, man. God created mankind in his image. Starting with the man Adam and from him,
