I panicked, I didn't know what to do. "Uh..." he was just staring at me with a big waiting smile on his face. "Niall," "Yeah?" A big smile spread across my face, I really liked this guy, why shouldn't I go on a date with him? There was nothing stopping me. "Isn't too early for that?" "Yes, but we could always take things slow?" He smiles with mischievous eyes. "Okay then, I'll go on a date with you." I hadn't finished the sentence when he was already engulfing me in a big tight hug once again. Man, he sure is a hugger. "Great! I was so scared you were going to say no and that would've been so embarrassing and awkward." I smiled up at him, "It's pretty late, Niall." He looks at me confused for a while, I wouldn't blame him, I would be …show more content…
When I ignored him and started eating my cereal he gets really quiet. "So, are you going to tell me who the guy is, or do I have to go find out myself?" "What?" I ask confused with the sudden mood change. "I'm your father, I know when something is happening with you." He says looking smug. To say I was shocked was an understatement. How he had the power to do that, I had no idea. Maybe he was a psych? My thoughts were cut off by his powerful laughter. "Why are you laughing?" I ask with wide eyes. "Did you really think I didn't see some boy climbing through my daughter's window, Emma?" "I stood there, with cautious eyes, testing to see what he knew and what he didn't. I stayed quiet. We stared at each other for a good minute before I slowly looked away. "You should go to school, you'll be late if you keep staring at me." He chuckles, shooing me away while taking a sip of his coffee. XXX Getting to school was the usual, with the exception of my mind being flooded with clear blue eyes that soon started drifting to green ones. When I got to my locker, I saw Niall awkwardly standing in front of it. "Mr. Horan, I didn't expect to see you this early, is there any particular reason why you're gracing me with your presence?" I ask smiling up at him. "Actually, yes." He answers nervously glancing at his feet. "What's wrong?" I ask a tremble taking over my voice. "Well, I was
"What if you came with me?" I ask quickly, because had I waited another second, he'd've kicked me out. He was about to, I could tell, but now I've distracted him from that. Now his expression is a little less hard. Because he's thinking.
“So, I’ve liked you for quite some time now and I just wanted to ask if you’d like to go out with me.” I said confidently.
He looked at me. I thought I saw concern flash across his face, but it was gone too quickly for me to be certain.
He blushed. "It 's easy to imagine someone asking you out but I wasn 't expecting it. Just because I like him, doesn 't mean that I want to date him. It would be too complicated."
Yuri fought to hold down a blush. “Well yeah, but he ended up transferring schools and I don’t know if I’m ready to face him again,” he confessed.
He hesitated. He opened his mouth to say something, but then probably thought better of it, and merely shook his head.
He stared at me in bewilderment. "Lisa, are you okay? Why are you so jumpy?"
"Oh... hey" she looked worried. She was looking around her friends to see if any of them were taking notice of us. Everyone on the table was looking at us.
“School, did you not remember? Or did you stay up too late watching Z Nation without me?” I could tell he was smiling.
"Must be important, they made you come out of hiding." I said a smug smile on my face as I took a step closer to him. He didn 't look at me; he just stared out my window as if it was somehow more interesting than the words coming from my mouth.
"..." Her question caught him off guard. It should not have surprised him, she knew him really well. They shared everything, or rather as much as
“So, was that a yes or a no?” He asks while looking at me, his beautiful brown eyes scanning my face. I still can’t believe that I’m actually going to be stuck with him for 3 hours. Annoying dipshit.
"Nah, I don 't feel like it." I brushed it off nonchalantly, looking away from his gaze. I could tell that ticked him off a bit.
I tilted my head to the side. “You’re nervous about something, aren’t you?” He froze and looked down, suddenly having a profound interest in the carpet. I put my hands on my hips. “Oh, please Matt, I’ve known you for a year now.”
I stared at him, unsure of what to do. "I was scared that you would come after me or hurt me. And it 's alright, my head 's okay."
