Her friend stole a glance in her direction as she rubbed her eyes in an attempt to wash away the thought of them together like this. He hoped this had not upset her too much or that from what she could remember, he was not a disappointment. Whatever the case, Alex searched through the archives of his brain for a good joke to laugh at. And maybe that was part of the problem; he could never take anything seriously. His expression turned into one of worry. He valued their friendship more than anything. With that, an apology hung from the tip of his tongue but never made it past his lips. He decided it best to not say anything at that moment until after she called him that playful name. It hinted that things were going to be okay and he sighed …show more content…
Just as he released it, his mind and body were able to relax. "I'm sorry, Sasha, I-I thought you said something else." His face colored red from embarrassment at how quick he was to turn on her. These dreams were really starting to fuck with him. He should just tell her. Alexander released the blanket and allowed it to cascade down his taut hips and thighs before it finally dropped to his ankles. He stepped into each individual leg of his pants then danced the rest of his body into his jeans, clasping them with a button. He often forgot to zip. "Actually... can I have two?" He answered, referring to the eggs. He turned around, facing her, and gave her the usual pleading eyes and charming smile. He waited in silence for his breakfast, idly making his way over to her dresser to borrow her mirror. He wiped away a little drool stain, combed his brows with the pads of his fingers, and teased his hair into something less wild and into something more natural. Not long after he joined her back on the bed, taking his plate so she could adjust accordingly. Alex took a seat right beside her and did not even bother with the utensils he was so hungry. "..." Her question caught him off guard. It should not have surprised him, she knew him really well. They shared everything, or rather as much as

“Love is complex: considered simply in itself, it is neither honorable nor a disgrace-its character depends entirely on the behavior it gives rise to,” (Plato 183d). There are two different types of love that Pausanius refers to, which are the common and heavenly love. The common love is based on your love for someone for their body, sex or beauty making it physical love and desire for a person. Heavenly love is love for the mind such as your intelligence and strength, someone you can benefit from making one more wise. Any love that is encountered has a purpose whether is it the love between a mother and daughter or the love between a husband and wife. In the end, all love leads and is directed to virtue and improves the loved ones.
“I know a thing or two about solving them, unlike others I’ve met.” She coughed loudly after saying this.
He noticed that she flintched at the sound of his name, and watched how she quickly try to acted natural. She only ingruied him more. "You've heard of me," he didn't asked, he stated.

present and one of those is the theme of love. Philia, Eros, and Agape are the three types of love present in the play and are what represent the theme of love. These three types of love, Philia, Eros, and Agape are expressed by the different characters in the play. The expression of the theme of love in the play is not just there by accident; William Shakespeare put it in this comedic and romantic play with a purpose.
The Art of Love, written by Ovid, was a set of three books, the first being a guide or rule book on how to “pick-up” women and the second book a rule book on how to keep the woman you have or “caught” satisfied and interested in you. The third and final book that he wrote was written for women on what to do to catch and keep a man, since he felt it was only fair for women to also be “armed” when it comes to picking- up men. The rules that Ovid describes in The Art of Love are similar to the rules that most people follow in the “cruising and catching” game because they are effective and produce results, although not all the rules described in Ovid’s book are still used, a great majority of them are and have not changed after so many years.
At times, I might be perceived to be inconsiderate to you, but please understand that I also will have my own uncertainties whereby I will question your actions. It will have nothing to do with me not truly loving you because in the end you will always be my girl.
For as long as I can remember, I have been writing lyrics, therefore, there was no surprise that I would be pouring all my love into a lyrical masterpiece when I started dating my first boyfriend. My first taste of that sweet summer love and already my head was floating amongst the clouds.
I stare at the blank canvas in front of me. After years of painting, it’s hard to find new ideas, something creative, romantic. My husband and I have been so distant lately. He believes that I have been unfaithful to him. Between my long days at work and the countless nights I spend in my art studio, he seems to believe that I have enough time to have an affair. This is not the case; I wouldn’t dream of inflicting such pain to anyone, not to mention him.
Love is what made poetry famous. Everyone from Shakespeare with his sonnets to children with their red roses use poetry to express love. Love is the filling in poetry’s pie, the melody in its symphony, and the pregnancy scare in its soap-opera. In Dante's opinion, not only poetry, but everything is composed of love:
