The Capulet's and Montague's should be punished because the family feud was very old and it should've been ended, they have gotten plenty of people killed, and they are also the reason romeo and Juliet have committed suicide. The 2 families are the reasons of the conflicts that has been happening. If they would've ended the feud their children would've been alive and happy and so will have the other who have gotten killed. Their actions have cost a-lot of blood on their hands. Romeo and Juliet were madly in-love but they are also madly depressed. They could not tell their families about one another because they were afraid of what might happened. If they're families would have ended the feud Romeo and Juliet would have been happily together and in-love they could've lived a long life with their future children. The Capulet's and Montague's have cost so much not only to others but to themselves. They can not blame anybody for what they have caused.
If the feud would've have ended, everyone who has died would still be alive. The families were selfish and thought of nothing but

The parents wanted to disown Juliet when she came to them honestly about how she felt about Paris and that she did not want to marry Paris. For example 3:5:165-172 explains how the parents were disappointed, despised, angry towards her. The Capulet's were also unsupportive, selfish, and uncaring about her feelings and desires. Juliet is Lord Capulet last child and he neglects her, then forces her into a unwanted marriage. If he did not for her Juliet would not have to find a way out of marriage and she would not be found dead. Lady Capulet stops caring about what her daughter wants by this she chose to ignore her daughter wishes too. Her uncaring ways led Juliet depression. The Capulet's are to be blamed for Juliet death and others
Justice is defined as being fair, right, or lawful. To determine if an action is just, the question “was it morally right or wrong” must be answered. In law today, justice is determined through written rules or laws. Similarly, the novel Romeo and Juliet uses the idea of justice, for two lovers have families are at war, which creates great tension throughout the families. The two families, the Montagues and the Capulets often begin riots throughout the streets of Verona, which causes many complications for Romeo and Juliet, as well as challenges the idea of justice. In the novel Romeo and Juliet, written by William Shakespeare, justice was not achieved through the Prince’s ruling.
The blame of the problems on the parents and adults is shown through the adults forcing the children into unideal circumstances. Lady Capulet tells Juliet her plan, “ Marry, my child, early next thursday morn, the gallant, young and noble gentlemen, the County Paris, at Saint Peter’s Church, shall happily make thee there a joyful bride!” Lady Capulet and Lord Capulet force Juliet to marry Paris, against her will and when Juliet retaliates informing them of her love for Romeo they act intensely immature. Lord Capulet loses his temper and acts extremely juvenile, telling Juliet that he will disown her as a daughter if she doesn’t marry Paris. This action leads to many of the paramount conflicts within the play. Juliet, after being informed of her mother’s plan, goes to Friar Lawrence to find the solution. Friar Lawrence then comes up with a solution to Juliet’s dilemma, “ A thing like death to chide away this shame, that copest with death himself to ‘scape from it: And if thou
Like in our world today we like to assign blame to someone's faults, that’s what is happening here. Who is to blame for the six deaths in Romeo and Juliet. The families, the Capulets and the Montagues because of their feud. Romeo and Juliet because of their stubborness, impatience and stupidity and then the Nurse. For not telling somebody before the problem got worse.
In the story of Romeo and Juliet there were two characters that are to blame for the death of the star crossed lovers. Those two characters are Lord Capulet and Lord Montague. I believe that those two are to blame for the outcome due to the fuel of the two families. If they would have buried the hatchet then they wouldn't have to be burying their children. I believe that if the two families would have let the children date then it would have helped resolve the conflict going on instead of making it worse. By trying to keep Romeo and Juliet apart they forced the two kids to take it upon themselves and create a plan to be able to live free without the parents even knowing. In the end two people from every family died as a result of the age old
There were 6 characters that died in the play and some people that lived should be punished. There is obviously somebody that can be blamed out of everyone alive for what happened to Romeo and Juliet. In the play Romeo and Juliet Lord Capulet,Nurse, and Friar Lawrence should be punished. First Lord Capulet should be punished. First reason would be because he was verbally abusive towards Juliet.
Some may ask themselves, “How come a family feud out of all things leading to the death of two lovers?” well, it’s not that difficult to figure out.
If Lord and Lady Capulet listen to Juliet like the nurse did they wouldn't have to grief over there daughters death. The Nurse always talks to Juliet and listens to what she says, and because of this, the Nurse knew more about Juliet than her own parents. This action really comes to play when The Capulet parents force Juliet to say yes to Paris’s marriage proposal. Juliet had told her mom multiple times that she doesn't want to marry Paris but they still demand that she married him. The pressure that Juliet faces during the play shows that her parents lack the support that needs to be given to her. Juliet's father even threatens to kick her out of the house because she doesn’t want to
William Shakespeare once asked, “What greater punishment is there than life when you’ve lost everything that made it worth living?” (Shakespeare). In the William Shakespeare’s play, Romeo and Juliet, two young people met their tragic death. They took their fate into their own hands and ended their lives, as they thought that their relationship would never be accepted by their families. Because of this, it’s clear to see that they were at fault for their own deaths.
Parents influence their children from the beginning, and they have a huge influence on their child’s life. Their job is to teach right from wrong and good over evil. The Capulets, however, wanted what was best for them and not what was best for their child, Juliet. The Capulets feud with the Montagues and impose that on their child. They also force Juliet into marriage with someone else and they moved the wedding day forward causing more stress to the already unstable child.
Friar Lawrence says,“Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast”( Romeo and Juliet 2.3.94). If some characters had followed this advice they wouldn’t be to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Some should be pardoned while others should be punished.
When given several opportunities to provide his daughter with comfort during a time of despair and grief, he decided that forcing his daughter to marry a man much older than her that she had just met was the best solution to the problem. Of course, when Juliet rebelled against his ridiculous proposal, Lord Capulet was furious and told her she must find somewhere else to live. He left her, abandoned, neglected, and forgotten on the streets of Verona. So, not only has her cousin been murdered and her husband exiled, but now her father will not allow her to live with him. “Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch!/ My fingers itch. Wife, we scarce thought us blest that God had lent us but this only child, but now I see this one is one too much and that we have a curse in having her. Out on her, hilding!/But, an you will not wed, I’ll pardon you./ Graze where you will, you shall not house with me./Look to ’t, think on ’t, I do not use to jest” (Romeo and Juliet 3.5.160-188). Lord Capulet upsets her even more by forcing the idea of marriage on her at such a young age, and he was not considerate of her delicate, fragile state at that time. Moreover, he completely neglected his dutiful post as a father when he abandoned his only child, beautiful
At the end of the play of Romeo and Juliet, the Prince will pardoned some people and some will be punished. Some people will be pardoned because some people tried to infuence Romeo and Juliet to make the right desicions. I think Juliet should have done what her parnets said and marry Paris because I think Romeo just wanted to sleep with her. The people that should be punished for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet should be Lord Capulet and Lord Montague for having beef with each other. If they would have never hated each other then Romeo and Juliet would have be married and everyone would of known.
Capulet makes Juliet want out, by being both physical and mentally abusive. When Juliet is crying in her bed after Romeo has left, her mom comes into Julielts room to talk about Paris and Juliet's marriage. Juliet says she does not want to marry Paris. Lady Capulet then tells Capulet this and Capulet goes into Juliet's room where he goes on a rant and during it he tells her she is not worthy of Paris. This summarization displays that he abuses her because he is telling his daughter that she is worthless and that Paris is to good for her, leading to her doing anything to escape him. Juliet willing to do anything to escape her dad, she acts impulsively. After Capulet has called her worthless, he then goes on to physically abuse her. After his rant about how hard it was to get someone better than her, he throws her against the wall, as well as telling her that he wants to hit her. This causes her tragedy because she acts impulsively to get away from her dad. She wants away from him because she is tired of being her dad’s pawn to move up in the social structure. A main cause for their deaths was
“All are punished.” Prince Escalus proclaims that, through the deaths of Romeo and Juliet, everyone is punished for the sin of the Capulet/Montague feud. Not all characters deserved this punishment, although many characters had a hand in the tragic demise of the young lovers. Undoubtedly Romeo’s friends did because they made him go to the masquerade ball, Balthasar took Romeo to the tomb because Romeo can not stay away from Juliet, and when Mercutio challenged Tybalt to a fight, causing his death.
One of the most painful scenes in Romeo and Juliet is where Capulet berates on Juliet. This scene has more meaning than what some may be deterred from seeing by being so befuddled as a result of Capulet’s shear rage towards his only daughter. To provoke such an eruption, Juliet had chosen not to marry Paris who is selected by Capulet himself. Due to the time period this is shown as great disrespect because she disobeyed her parents. She is forced to rebel against her parents because of choices she makes throughout the entirety of the play. This rebellion against her parents that has sparked within Juliet is caused by her marriage to Romeo and her decision to not marry Paris.
