Bullying is a situation where one person abuses power over another. Bullying is about power, control and abuse. Bully’s come in all shapes, sizes and forms. Bullying occurs throughout a human’s life span. The most-critical development stage of one’s personality is adolescence. Bullying during adolescence has been a major issue in every community. Bullying can happen in three known forms; direct, indirect, and cyber. Both gender and sexual orientation are associated with all forms of bullying. Bullying affects self-esteem and family cohesion.

School has finally begun and the vacation is out of the way. But how about the bullies and the concerned victims? Unlike current pupils in today 's society, bullied/cyberbullied victims will never receive a break. As kids we’d say 'Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt Me. ' But in today 's society? It could possibly too hard to cope with these words, specifically bullied victims.

Many young adults misunderstand the meaning of bullying. Many of them think that if they do not like an individual they deserve the beating. However, bullying is unwanted aggression behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power balance. Bullying can have a negative effect on a lot of people life. Many teenagers who has experienced bullying or who have been the bully have to undergo counseling to help function back into a normal society There are many types of bullying, some are cyber bullying verbal bullying and physical bullying.

There are several types of bullying and I want to acknowledge all of them to clear up any misunderstandings. The first type of bullying I want to address is Physical. This is any bullying that hurts someone’s body or damages their possessions. A few examples include stealing, shoving, hitting, fighting, and destroying. The second type is Verbal. Verbal bullying is a means of using words in a negative way such as insults, teasing, put downs, etc. Third form of bullying involves hurting someone’s reputation or relationships like leaving someone out purposely, telling others not to be friends with them, and spreading rumors. The final act of bulling is Cyber, which is the biggest and most common. Cyber bullying takes place using electronic technology including cell phones, computers, and tablets. The sites of the bullying are social media, text messages, chat, and websites.

There are all kinds of bullying like physical, cyber, verbal, social, sexual, and racial. Physical bullying is when people are physically hitting, kicking, pinching, biting, tripping, pushing etc. Cyberbullying is when someone talks about someone or threatens to do something to that person over a cellphone or over the internet. Verbal bullying is when someone talks about someone or threatens them either to their face or behind their back. Social bullying is when you use relationships to hurt someone like saying that you are going to make someone not to be friends

Not only does bullying affect many throughout the world, but there is many different types of bullying that affect many people. There are commonly four different types of bullying. These include physical bullying, in which is when one hits, punches, kicks, or pinches another person. Also there is verbal bullying, that is when any type of rude remark is made upon another. Another type of bullying is social bullying, in which it results to one trying to harm ones social reputation, by humiliating them or spreading rumors about them.
