Tribes Project I am a part of the dance tribe, the I need a watch tribe, the drama tribe, no ponytail tribe, I should probably learn to read and write in Chinese tribe, the sugar tribe, the fashion tribe, and the crazy tribe. I am a part of the dance tribe because I've been doing dance since I was 5-6 in China. It has been a part of my life for a very long time and I enjoy taking classes and performing dances. Currently, I am taking acro and technique because I want to focus on the fundamentals and not a specific style. The next tribe I'm in is the I need a watch tribe because I always ask people what time it is every 5 minutes and people get very annoyed. I am also in the drama tribe, for I love acting and drama. It is always fun for me
A government surveyor drew a line separating the Wallowa Valley. The Nez Perce objected. The Nez Perce claimed, “the Indians who signed the new treaty were the leaders of other bands and had no right to give up land that was not even theirs” (Williams & Youngs, 5). This is how the Non-Treaty came about. Soon the whites and Indians fought over the land and Indians were killed, one that was best friend with Joseph, he felt like he was is brother. Burial was granted to bury the Indian in the valley by General Howard.
This tribe was a poor group of people who had suffered many attacks from other tribes, in addition, settling far to the west got them lack of knowledge about these strangers, white men. Fortunately, the presence of Sacajawea and her baby boy in the corps was her greatest contribution, which gained Shoshone’s trust. Eventually, they found the tribe on August 8, 1805, and Sacajawea again played the significant roles, the interpreter and peacemaker. Via a translation chain, captain Lewis wanted to trade goods for horses with Shoshone tribe. As regards Sacajawea, she had an emotional reunion after recognizing her brother, Cameahwait, Shoshone tribe’s chief as well. Finally, the captains got the horses with one condition they would return with guns for Shoshone tribe.

The Yurok tribe, although mostly assimilated in present times, has continued to thrive and protect their culture. The Yurok tribe has endured a sordid history. The tribe has suffered great atrocities at the hands of western culture. The Yurok went from being a thriving people, to being assimilated, almost to the point of ethnocide, (Kottak) and finally forced to live in a small area that was once a part of their vast ancestral land. The Yurok people have strived up until the present to keep their culture alive. In this essay I will be discussing what the Yurok tribe is like today, what problems they face politically and socially, and what the tribe is doing to combat these issues.
The Chippewa Tribe Tepees are spreaded throughout the grassy land, families are rolling up their homes to look for food. These people moved around searching for food and a good hunting place. These people are called the Chippewa or Ojibwa Indians which means “puckered up” because of their moccasins tops being sewn together (Ditchfield 8). They live around the Great Lakes in North America and some parts of Canada (9).

They lived in the Southwest areas that are today known as New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. Their "Navajo" came from the Spanish who called them the Apaches of Navajo. They called themselves "Dine" or "the People". I chose to write about the Navajo Indians Tribes because I would like to learn more about them.

Macbeth’s presentation of his state of the union address isn’t really like the way modern day politics would present it but he uses similar tactics. Macbeth tries to persuade his people by saying there is a disease is his country and he will fight to root it out. In the play it turns out that the only problem people have is actually Macbeth himself. A lot of modern day politics try to use the same tactics. They spend a lot of money on trying to spread their ideas on fixing the countries problems. They also spend a lot of money trying to beat down the people they are running against accusing them of lying or cheating at some point in their life or career. Modern day politics are a lot like Macbeths tactics but they have some differences. Macbeth
Jack struggled when he was in elementary school - he found it difficult to read, spell, and write. While the other children excelled during Mrs. Leroy’s 3rd grade reading time, Jack often became frustrated and upset because the letters and symbols did not make sense. One day, Jack’s older sister took him to the public library with her to check out a book. The librarian sensed Jack’s trouble when she saw him with a book, sounding out the letters with difficulty. She sat with Jack for three hours and taught him how to read; within weeks, Jack was a proficient reader and headed to the library twice a week to check out books recommended to him. The public library system affects the public education system in the United States by providing the students with achievement, lifelong learning opportunities, and an education.
The picture I chose to visually analyze was an album cover from A Day to Remember. The name of the album is What Separates Me from You. It was released November 16th, 2010. This picture contains many people, many of them that are visible are visible from head to toe. They are all crossing the street, left and right, the crosswalk is very narrow. The people crossing the street are all looking straight ahead of them, mouths are all closed. All look focused and in their own realities and no one is conversing with one another. The people in the picture are from many different races and ethnicity, including white, African American, and Asian American and they are dressed in many different styles. In the picture the people have many different hairstyles
