Deontae Murphy Mrs. Duguay English 11 14 March 2016 DeadPool: The Day of Infamy Deadpool is a great and funny movie to watch but it is rated R so make sure to not take your kids, this is not a movie for kids to watch but if you choose to take them you have no one to blame but yourself. It is one of the top anticipated movie of the year other than Batman V Superman, Captain America Civil War, and Dr. Strange. Deadpool was a movie that was loved by thousands even critics like it, it provided comedy, drama, action- adventure and even a little dirty comedy for those that like to keep their mind in the gutter and no other thoughts in their right of mind. Wade Wilson (Deadpool) (Ryan Reynolds) is a former Special Force operative who was turned
This isn't just another family road trip comedy as I thought it would be. This was a dark and quirky comedy at its best. The script and acting was brilliant, the characters were unusual and the ending was eventful and unpredictable. The grandpa said a lot of things that were probably inappropriate for younger watchers, and he used drugs, but they he ended up dying, which is a positive anti-drug message. Overall a beautiful movie, but parents need to be careful about showing even the edited version for
I remember seeing some advertisements for the movie making it out to be a family movie and the case compares it to “The Lord of the Rings.” It is not a family movie. As stated earlier there is a lot of violence in this movie. Other than children, who should not see this film, people should be warned that is not happy and the violence is very realistic I had a hard time watching the scene where the captain uses a wine bottle to smash in a farmer’s face. It does have wonderful scenes and graphics. I enjoyed the complex characters and motives people had. It was also set in a place
This film is most certainly aimed at fans of movies like Sharknado, famed for being so bad its good. With puppet-like antagonists, special effects almost intended to be over the top, and D-list acting this movie promises to make audiences laugh more than it would ever scare them. Director Jordan Rubin packs every horror movie cliché into just under an hour and a half of hilarity. Teenagers alone in a cabin in the woods? Check.
The movie I will be talking about today is Dead Pool it is the most recent movie out by Marvel and has recently been rated the highest grossing rated R movie ever made.
Tombstone is not only limited to history fans though, it is a very intriguing and fun to watch movie, and most people would enjoy it. I would not recommend this movie to people afraid of violence, because there is a lot of shooting and goriness throughout this film. Tombstone is rated R, so I would also not recommend this to younger people, because of the violence and language. Overall, I really enjoyed watching this film. I felt like I learned a lot about western life, and the violence that occured. All of the scenes were very well done, and I did not get bored while watching. The movie seemed very realistic, especially in the battling scenes. All of the actors in Tombstone did a fascinating job and portrayed their character very well. I also believe the movie was well put together, and all of the different scenes flowed together great. Tombstone was very fun to watch, and I learned a lot while watching it. If I had to rate Tombstone, I would give it 8 stars out of 10. All of the scenes were entertaining, the acting was excellent, there was not an overload of violence, it was realistic, and it was put together very well. Although this movie did have a great deal of good points, it did have its poor ones. At a few points during the movie, I became confused. To be more specific, during the showdown scene, I was confused on who was a cowboy, and who was not. I also grew confused during the scene with
The movie is rated PG it would attract families to watch it together. Rocky draws in the older crowd audience those who like classics, sports and inspirational films. Despite the movie Rocky having a specific audience I recommend this movie for everyone because it has a clear motivating
This movie can be for anyone really. It really depends on what you are into. Like maybe you like fantasy. Then The Hobbit is for you. Or you like elves. There you go. I mean “jocks” would like this movie. The action is enough to get anybody to watch it.
I saw this movie with my uncle over the weekend. I thought it was great! At the beginning, Batman mistakenly adopts a child while he is staring at an attractive girl who he will partner with in the middle of the movie. The next week he finds the child playing and sliding all around the mansion. While Batman frantically tries to figure out what the child is doing in his house, Commissioner Gordon explains everything.
The two biggest 20th Century Fox movies have been released this year and comic fans are looking at the upcoming Deadpool 2 sequel and Gambit movie to lift their spirits. However, the studio has not even started filming yet as they currently prioritize other things.
Before watching, I assumed I was getting another classic superhero plot, you know, guy likes a girl, guy loses family, guy acquires a superpower, villain threatens city, guy saves city, guy gets the girl, story over. No, I got a whole different story this time. Kick-Ass chose to be a superhero, not to avenge a death or get a girl, but just because he wanted to make his city a safer place for the people in it, and with a few twists and turns, it delivers a crazy story with an ending that wasn’t expected. Also, to take a more comedic route over the classic serious theme also helped making it easily enjoyable because it gave a few laughs, but still delivered the action thrills expected in any superhero film. I feel that this movie sort of paved the way for newer superhero films, such as Deadpool (2016), to be more comedic than in the past.
I agree, however, I myself am not a fan of superheroes, more of villains, but yes Deadpool was a great movie to see and I did, in fact, I did laugh very hard. I was intrigued that it was not "typical". This film was not made suitable for children due to the graphic violence and offensive language, so NOT everyone with a sense of humor such as baby-boomers, for example, your grandmother should see this film. The relativity to the audience in regard to this film is specific and leaves room to argue.
X-Men: Apocalypse has a new set of actors to portray some of the franchise's most popular characters. James Marsden will be replaced by Tye Sheridan as Cyclops. Halle Berry's Storm will be taken over by Alexandra Shipp while Kodi Smit-McPhee becomes Alan Cumming's younger incarnation of Nightcrawler. Game of Thrones' very own Sansa Stark, Sophie Turner, plays as Jean Grey in replacement for Famke Janssen.
Ignore the haters, this is a solid and entertaining film and definitely worth a watch. It starts off a bit slow but that's needed to set things in motion. This is definitely not a bad film as some have reviewed, from the cinematography to the editing to the acting, it's really well done and worth a watch, keep in mind, it's a remake of a very cheesy 70s film called HEAT so while some might be turned off by the cheesy dialogue, I personally thought it was hilarious, and it's complemented by some very well done scenes that move things along quite nicely. For what it is and what it sets out to do, it earns five out of five stars in my book as I never became bored while watching it.
I cannot advise parents of young children enough to not judge the movie by its family-friendly cover as you will soon discover that family and friendly are two words that define the complete opposite of this film. Yet, who wants family-friendly anyway? The same happy ending plot line can get extremely repetitive – and dare I say it – boring! This is completely original
There isn’t a single redeeming factor here, every line, actor, and stunt is painstakingly bad. I’d assumed - given his inclusion in the upcoming ‘Deadpool’ film - that Ed Skrein would try his best with what he has, but he doesn’t. Skrein is the next Jai Courtney or Sam Worthington,
