The constitution is far from similar to this world because there is always something happening. The history of the United States is not reflected in the world of the Declaration of Independence and Constitution through the ideas of inequality and abuse of power. For them to be better and everyone else suffer. The Whiskey Rebellion was where they taxed whiskey but the problem with that was because the poor make it where the rich buy it and have the money but when the poor make it that have to pay more because of its higher tax (Source B). This abuses the power because the government is now gaining that money after the poor make it and still have to pay the higher price. They are taking advantage of the cost for them. In the world there were different territory where who had what territory at the time. Was it the United States or was it Mexico? The United States had to work with what they had to be able to have a lot of people living with them. The more land they had the more people the more money they get. They abused this power by taking more and more land from other countries (Source E). They had the east side then they took the most of the west side. They kept going after more land until they were happy with what they had. In the end the world will never be perfect no matter what the Constitution says, there will always be problems, no one will ever be happy. The past is a horrific time where many are happy they didn’t have to live in that time but those who did live in that time know what it was like. First off, the foremost goal of the preamble was to form a more “perfect union”. Under the Articles of Confederation, the United States of America were said to be a lenient accord of disagreeable states, all independent from each other. Several states even went as far as to act as if they were their own nations.
So, even though the Constitution any not be perfect, it is still about as perfect as it can be, which is why America has survived so long. On July 3rd, 1776, the Second Continental Congress unanimously declared the independence of the thirteen United States of America from Great Britain. Determined to unify the thirteen colonies, the Continental Congress adopted the Articles of Confederation and Perpetual Union, the first constitution of the United States, on November 15, 1777. However, ratification of the Articles of Confederation by all thirteen states did not occur until March 1, 1781. Although the articles did not prevent the United States from winning independence, the innate flaws of the articles became apparent in the years following the revolution. The problems of the weak, purely legislative national government became too prevalent for agents of the revolution, such as James Madison and George Washington. Madison and Washington were strong supporters of a federal, or national, constitution, and on June 21, 1788, congress ratified the Constitution of the United States. And in doing so, violated the “Revolutionary Ideology” and the will of the American people.
The United States would lose its name and stand divided if the Constitution did not bring the thirteen colonies into one body. Understanding that the United States was formed based on the people’s irritation with the corruption of the control of power in England, the Constitution reassured the people that their freedoms were going to be kept, but it required their trust. The United States of America was founded on a Constitution that was supposed to preserve our freedoms and certain liberties. All Americans at that time wanted to keep America a free an independent nation with rights for its people.
