You will meet many heroes in your lifetime and you probably can't tell by looking at them. A hero is someone who had put themselves in a risky situation with the intent of helping others. Most of the population believes that heroes have to wear a big red cape or fly to be a hero, but those aren't the only heroes out there. Another criteria that people put on heros are that they had to be recognized in text books to be heros. Heroes are everyday people who have sacrificed for others, they are shoved face first into a dangerous scenario and try their hardest to help others, most of these times you only have to be brave for 20 minutes, if they are trying to speak out against the system they don't get silenced by the system. For most of these
Heroes come in different shapes, sizes, and looks. Maybe someone you saw on the street one day was heroic for saving someone’s life in a car accident. A hero to me is someone who can be brave in situations that aren’t so safe, and take a risk to make sure everyone is okay, no matter who
A hero is simply, someone that shows courage and bravery to persevere through hardships. For example, a hero shows great acts of strength and determination to continue in the face of difficulty. The action that a hero demonstrates, is what causes recognition and appreciation. A hero takes action for a cause that they feel strongly about. For instance, if someone was bullying another kid, and someone who was watching from the outside, decided to stand up for what they believe in, that person who acted upon the bully would be considered a hero. The person took action for what they believe in, and didn’t just sit there and let the kid get bullied. In other words, a hero can be anyone that demonstrates skill and determination to stand up for what they believe in. Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks are two examples of people who acted upon a cause they felt strongly about.
Everyone has their own idea of what a hero is and what a hero does. Most people think that guys like superman and batman are heroes because they have incredible superpowers and they are famous people who receive glory. Many people describe heroes as strong and indestructible people, however, heroes are actually not always famous and they are not always the way that society portrays them. In fact, most heroes are ordinary people who do extraordinary things and have notable traits for society to follow. Although heroes are mostly overlooked or misinterpreted by many people, a hero is always a courageous, selfless, and persistent person who has the determination to create change for the better.
Heroes do what's right, even if they put themselves in danger. For example, in everyday life, people like firemen, paramedics and soldiers risk their lives for the common people every day. Heroes are willing to give something up for the greater good of others.
Heroes are defined differently depending on who you are asking. Heroes are based on backgrounds, families, perspectives, and so much more. Based on what I have witnessed and been through, I believe a hero is someone who positively makes a difference in the lives of others through their actions and experiences. Heroes are supposed to make us feel safer and are supposed to make us feel better about ourselves. A hero is supposed to overcome difficult situations and help everyone believe that anything is possible. Bo Meagher is my hero of Scott County. Bo is someone who has overcome obstacles and cancer, when he couldn’t do much about his condition.

What is your definition of a hero? My definition of a hero is someone who fights for what is right even if people try to convince them other wise. A hero is caring to others and shows leadership. A hero can be on tv or right in front of your eyes. Being a hero does not mean being famous or well known. This definition of a hero perfectly describes my hero, my mammy.
When one is asked to visualize a hero, they may think of a policeman or an emergency medical technician. Perhaps one may even imagine a soldier receiving a Purple Heart. All of these are excellent examples of heroes. To me, a hero is someone who follows their heart to do good for others.
Have you ever considered what an everyday hero looks like? A hero can be a policeman, a firefighter, it can even be you and me, or it may even be our mom and dad, and also a hero can be anybody in the world that makes a difference. A hero is when somebody is when somebody needs help a hero helps them in any way necessary, even though the hero might have a few struggles along the way.
A hero tends to be a good person with a great morality and treats people with respect. While this is true people have came up with false accusations and consider the cool guy that kills everybody the hero. Heroes should really be great examples and know how to make compromise with opposing sides of an argument. In many ways heroes show endurance, persistence, and a great attitude. Many roadblocks taunt heroes but they have to look past them and think of the end results. Other great examples of a great hero would be a passion for being good but also standing up for what they believe. To most people calling someone a hero isn’t alway true and can be debated but heroes should always be judged by their standards, attitude, and
What is a hero? Well everybody has a different definition but one key trait all heros have is bravery. On hero that carries this trait is a president. Presidents not only stand up in front of a lot of people during speeches but also have control over the united states of america. Another hero is a soldier, they risk their lives every day to protect our country. Heros don’t only need to be in real life they can also be in books, like dallas winston from the outsiders.
A hero is a person that stays calm and acts fast, can be good or bad, and a person that cares.
Heroes were first appeared in the Greek Mythology. (Rizal) At that time, there were so many heroes: Achilles, the Greek hero of the Trojan War; Hercules, the strong men who performed 12 impossible tasks; Perseus, He killed the Gorgon Medusa, whose gaze turned people to stone. When we heard the word ‘hero’ we would think about the person who is good, brave, and have more powerful than normal people, never afraid of the dangerous things and always help people in a trouble. Each age’s heroes were not the same; it depended on the society that they live and the environment around them.
Heroes are people you can look up to. For example, Gale Fiege wrote an article about a man named Tristan Eugene Segers. He lost his leg while fighting in Afghanistan. According to Fiege, Segers did not let his loss slow him down. He had a prosthetic leg, but still ran a marathon, he did not try to hide his leg in the summer, and he even had a specially designed gas pedal in his truck so he could still drive. This man did not let anything slow him down. People that are this kind of brave are people that are valued in this world. Also, heroes usually make good choices on a daily basis. Oliver Stone, a director after the Vietnam War, wrote about what he believed a true hero is. He wrote, “The teenager who says no to crack. The inner-city kid who works at McDonald’s instead of selling drugs” (Stone 74). These kids made good choices. They are heroes because they inspired others around them to make the right decisions. Third, heroes help others without asking for recognition. For example,
