My full name is Kiana Renae Savercool. My first name, Kiana is a feminine name of Hawaiian origin, meaning Moon Goddess, or (more commonly) princess. My mother chose the name while she was pregnant with me. Her and my older sister, Nyoka, were watching tv when an exercise lady came on. When my mother heard her name, she fell in love with it. Later on in her pregnancy, she considered changing it to Tiana, but in the end, she (obviously) chose Kiana.

My parents spent a lot of time arguing over what to name me. Their decision time was cut short when I was born over two months early, leaving them completely unprepared.
