“The best part of beauty is that which no picture can express,”~ Francis Bacon. Women across the world suffer mentally, physically, and emotionally trying to fit into society's definition of beauty. Society’s definition may be completely different from what one believes beauty may appear to be. I do not think one person should have the authority to define anyone’s unique beauty. Each person should be able to embrace their own natural beauty, without having to question whether their beauty meets the expectations and standards of others. Beauty is a matter of opinion, and is usually defined and recognized only within the surface of one's skin. Although the definition is undefined, I know it is focused more within a person than just their physical appearance. Selfishness is not an admirable characteristic to acquire whatsoever.We should be looking after one another,and helping others whenever and however possible. Selfishness is the idea that inquires to take away from natural beauty one should exude. Many people believe that giving large amounts of money is what it means to be generous, but in actuality it is only one of the countless ways to give to others, yet the least meaningful. Being able to unconditionally love and forgive someone, altogether, is something a person with a genuine heart can bear. An example, stopping to lend a helping hand to a stranger in need on the side of the road. Even though the person may be running late, he or she is willing to take the act. Canceling one’s plans made with friends to spend time with the new foreign exchange student, instead, to make them feel more welcome is also a generous act.
