I hope everyone in the whole wide world is very happy. My definition of someone’s success would be happiness. First, success is not complete without happiness. Second, I think my father has earned success because of happiness. Last, my mother has achieved happiness through success. Therefore, I think success has always been accomplished with nothing else but happiness. As a matter of fact, success could never be complete without happiness. Money can be a person’s success. To demonstrate, a person could be looking into his bank account and see that he has a lot of money and that could make him feel happy and successful. A person’s knowledge could also be his success. For example, a person could have gone all the way from elementary school through high school and he could feel successful, happy, and accomplished with his knowledge. Personal items can be another factor that makes people feel successful. To prove this fact, a person can own a very expensive diamond necklace and that could make him feel very successful. My mother has a very nice house that she loves. Just like my father, she also loves when she gets to visit family and friends that comes in from other states. Another thing that makes my mother happy is her pictures that are in her house. For example, she loves walking through the house and just observing her pictures of family, friends, statues, and monumental buildings that are on the wall in her house. Altogether, my mother has achieved great success because of happiness. In conclusion, the definition of someone’s success, in my own two eyes, is happiness. First, success cannot be accomplished without happiness. Second, my father has achieved a great amount of success because of happiness. Last, my mother has accomplished outstanding success with happiness. After all, no matter who it is, in my honest opinion, cannot achieve success without
Success is a word that really hard to define, because everyone will have a different definition for this word. In fact, there no exact definition for the word "success". For a student, maybe the success means to pass all courses of the semester; for a business man, signing a importance contract and get a lot of money are successes; and for a president, leading the country to develop and make the people have a better life are success. There are many different understandings of what success is. Some relate success to money, others relate success to happiness, but it all depends on the type of person.
What is success? Is success something that you can eat? Is it a physical object you can touch or a psychological feeling in the mind? Success is characterized differently by various people. For some people it means wealth. Others it means happiness. To me, success means making sure my family is living a healthy happy life. It means making valuable life decisions and having a feeling of belonging. Success is not only about helping yourself reach full potential. It is about bringing others along and giving them the opportunity to excel together in life.
“Success” is a term that is a part of our daily life. It can be defined in a variety of ways, such as achievements, awards, and college degrees. Some will even deem success as having a family, having a well-paying job, or even feel that living an uncomplicated life of contentment. But in the world that we live in today, there is not a set definition of success to go by. Only you as a person can give the meaning of success.
Undoubtedly success can only be defined by the individual. In the video, “What’s Your Definition of Success?”, a man explains that success are the smiles he receives from his wife and child. To me this is the best response because it explains that happiness should be the ultimate goal, and you will be successful no matter the outcome as long as you are happy with how you achieved your goals.
Webster defines success as “achieving wealth, respect, or fame.” However, my definition of success revolves around much more. Personal success, in my opinion, is achieved by the amount of happiness experienced by others around you. Being the good in an otherwise bad day, bringing a smile to a depressed face, or encouraging someone around you to try something new are all ways I feel triumphant.
Is Success all about wealth and popularity? Or does it have a deeper meaning than what we perceive. Success: an accomplishment of an aim or purpose. We all seem to want success. We all tend to seek it. “Success” seems to be the magic word for what we chase after, prepare for, choose, and desire. It’s how we often define our lives. Money, fame, and power are often what we have been told make up success.
The majority of the population describes success by the materialistic accomplishments such as being wealthy or owning land, and others relates success to a career. Although these descriptions may hold some truth in the definition of success, they are not sufficient to embark the entire meaning of success. Success not only includes wealth and great careers, but it includes happiness. These three factors are important for success and lacking a single one nay alter the success of a person.
Merriam-Webster defines success as the fact of getting or achieving wealth, respect, or fame; the correct or desired result of an attempt; someone or something that is successful; a person or thing that succeeds. The definition of success differs from one person to another. Most people work their whole lives to accomplish their own personal success, in which, everyone views differently. Success among many individuals can be connected with The American Dream, the idea that every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through work, determination, and initiative.
In conclusion, success is being filthy rich and quite helpful. Donald Trump is successful because he got to be the president of the United States. Another successful thing is that Dolly Parton started out in the country music business, then she got a splendid idea to create the amazing theme park of Dollywood. Success can come to a lot of people, only if they can accomplish their
All around there are many different viewpoints of what success means. One person could read straight from the dictionary and tell you that’s what they view success to be. As for me, success is accomplishing something you put your all into. What better feeling than to see the results you were striving for come true in front of your eyes or even just the feeling inside. Success is not all about the money, simply put because money doesn’t buy happiness. The money that was earned could be the reward received from what your success in, or something even more valuable to one person. The feeling of changing someone’s life for the better for the both of you, or to dedicate your life to something you love with your whole heart and whole soul, basically
What is success? Is it the process of doing a task and receiving a positive result acceptable amongst the community, or is it simply achieving ones own personal goals? Success to me can mean many things. Although I am successful in school, that does not necessarily mean I will lead a successful life.
Success is one of those words that does not have a uniform definition that can apply to every circumstance. Success can mean plenty of things; to someone who started out with nothing and gained little, they would see themselves as successful. On the other hand, someone who started off with plenty can have a different idea of success from the person who started with nothing. I am one of those people who started off with nothing; my parents and I immigrated to the United States from Nigeria and to my family back in Nigeria, I am very successful. Yet I see myself doing much more; my definition of success may change over time, but there is one thing that I expect to have in all my ideas of success: Being so successful that your success rubs off on other people who need it.
As an eighteen year old, the term of success has been used in many different contexts. Although, we tend to define success as a person who has made millions or someone who has broken down barriers for the next generation, however, have we been leaving out the most important part of success? Does being successful guarantee your happiness? Does it replace those lonely nights? Does success replace those sleepless nights? Does it replace the friends you have lost along your path? In my opinion, it does not. Success cannot be determined merely based off of comparisons with another person. In fact, I am a firm believer in do what makes you happy because everyone else is temporary in our lives. My definition of success is based on self happiness because if you cannot be happy with yourself how can you bless others?
Success for me means live the life you’ve always wanted. Accomplish all your goals and being happy. If you are not happy you are not successful.
