Quincy, Mass is where my childhood home stands
Homes are places that people can go to for warmth, memories and comfort. My childhood home resides or stands in Quincy, MA. The home is full of comfort for me and my family. My home is your typical Cape Code style. It’s gray in color with Maroon shutters. There is a 2 car attached garage. Flowers, bushes and other landscape surround the house. The front living room window is a large bay window that allows a lot of sunlight into the home when the curtains are open. The large bay window allows you to see a lot of our neighborhood and people passing by as they are out for their daily stroll.
Like all homes, my home contains a kitchen. The kitchen represents fond memories of my mom

Many times I would lie on my bed and listen to the rain hitting the roof outside my window and I could smell that rain, that’s a great smell. Other nights I would fall asleep in my bed as a cool breeze flowed through my bedroom leaving the air a little crisp, but oh so comfortable. On winter days, I usually had the window closed, obvious reasons. I would lie on my bed drawing cartoon characters, listening to
was all I knew. The house was my childhood home. It was a family member to me.
Parading on the outskirts of Mobile while dressed up as a Chickasaw chief is how one man became an important factor in the history of Mobile, Alabama, in the mid 1800’s. Now, a day set aside for this man, parades with floats, beads, moonpies, and loud music remind Mobilians of their favorite time of the year, Mardi Gras. The carnival celebration of Mardi Gras has played a big role in the history of the southern cities Mobile, Alabama, and New Orleans, Louisiana, but the history that everyone believes about the carnival and the people that have contributed to it is not always as true as it seems.
My old house was a huge part of my childhood. I lived there for 10 years. All of my childhood memories were made at.
I hated our house.. But of course it's just a thing that we left behind. We couldn't call it our house, it's referred to the old house..
Driving to Long Prairie, on the right side of the road, up a hill with a long, paved driveway will be a house to the left. This house is two-stories with a basement. The first time I saw it, the house had a worn out, light tan vinyl siding with faded, dark red shutters from years of Minnesota weather. At the end of the driveway was a garage that resembled the houses color. To the right of the driveway was a large stone wall that was overrun with wild grape vines. In the middle of the wall was a stairway that leads to an old, rundown playhouse. Also, there was a large, gray brick shed further away. Beyond the house are the woods, littered with pine needles from the rows of trees my grandpa planted when he moved there. The whole area is surrounded by the overpowering smell of pine, and the silence the woods carries; it brings a calming, peaceful sensation to me. As the years have gone on, the house and I have aged, grown, and changed together.
The House on Balein Ct is one of my favorite houses. My parents always tell me that one day we will move into a bigger house.A two floor house, with 5 Bedrooms, with a big backyard and a pool outside. He also wants pool room. This is the house my dad dreams about.
Brad Miller and I recently bought our very first home in Longmont, CO and our mortgage is through Premier/Cherry Creek. We worked with Alicia Alpenfels and I wanted to send an email letting you know how impressed we were with her. She had worked with us over two years ago when we almost bought a condo through the Boulder Affordable Housing program but the transaction fell through due to changes in our situation. When we were in a place to try and buy a home again last year there was no question that we wanted to work with her again. She was extremely kind, and dedicated to helping us get a home. We had numerous offers we put in and she always got our pre-approval letters to us when we needed them. A large part of the reason why the process
My house has been a huge part of my life. My house was built with dark red bricks. It is big and I have a large backyard with a hammock. It has many characteristics that make it important, but these are a few. My house is meaningful to me considering I have had so many memories of my friends and family there. It also keeps me safe when there is a storm or bad weather. In conclusion, I love many items from my childhood, but my house is one of my favorites.

It is no doubt about it that everyone has somewhere that they have adapted to long enough to call it there home! A place they can relax and really be their selves, for some it may have been their grandparents house, aunties house or wherever they felt comfortable. Well I of course felt comfortable in my own home, a four bedroom house on the west side of North Miami. My home in Miami was perfect I had my own room, I was very comfortable there, and it was a place to get away from the world.
The fleeting changes that often accompany seasonal transition are especially exasperated in a child’s mind, most notably when the cool crisp winds of fall signal the summer’s end approaching. The lazy routine I had adopted over several months spent frolicking in the cool blue chlorine soaked waters of my family’s bungalow colony pool gave way to changes far beyond the weather and textbooks. As the surrounding foliage changed in anticipation of colder months, so did my family. My mother’s stomach grew larger as she approached the final days of her pregnancy and in the closing hours of my eight’ summer my mother gently awoke me from the uncomfortable sleep of a long car ride to inform of a wonderful surprise. No longer would we be returning
Home is the place one spends more time in their life and share special moments with family. Where one expects to live permanently carefree and feel protected under the roof of their house. One day I want to have a home that makes me feel well and where I can be safe and happy. The purpose of this essay is to illustrate the decisions I made about designing my future dream house.
My house contains many memories of my childhood is where I grew up, I know every part of it and its secrets locations. When I was a child I used to hide in the attic, nobody would found me because no one knew where it was. Every time I enter my house I get a feeling of welcoming and comfort, leaving the house would make me sad. I celebrated many things like birthdays, baptisms and graduations, it means everything to me. It’s a huge piece that gives me safety and protects me from the rain, sun and winter. My house also has protected me from the outside world and violence. I don’t think I would ever want to move out, the walls have many scars from crayons and holes. The floor needs remodeling but
My house is quite large. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, two living rooms, a dining room, a special games room and a big front and back garden.
My grandmother’s house has a very special place in my heart. As the family has gotten older and we have all had our own children we do not visit as we should. I visited with my grandmother many times when I was little. Her house always seemed to have something about it that set it apart from all the rest. As you walk into the back door of her house you would notice a long, narrow kitchen that led into the main living and dining room of her house. The smell of food home cooked food was quite evident. Grandmother cooked every day and always cooked big meals on holidays for the family.
