We walk into the club just a new song begins to play. The vibrations give me a funny feeling causing me to laugh. Suki looks at me smiling. "I have never had anyone come out with me." "Well you do now," I smile. She grabs my arm and we clack our way over to the bar, my ankle almost giving out in the process because of the heels I am wearing. We have at least five shots to get us started since we have a high tolerance for liquor. I see people dancing around crazily while singing along to the song making me want to do the same. I pull Suki to the dance floor and we start shaking our hips along with moving our shoulders. We whip our hair around causing her to smack a guy in the process. I laugh hysterically as she turns around to apologize. He says if she dances with him she will be forgiven. Turning to look at me she smiles brightly. "I cannot leave my friend," she says. "I do not mind. Take her away!" She whispers a thank you and skips away with her new buddy. I close my eyes and sway my hips. My dress begins to rise because of the movement of my thighs, and my butt makes the dress higher in the back which is not helping. I just want to have a good time and forget, so heading back to the bar sounds like a good idea. I take some more shots feeling it burn my throat on the way down. I see Suki and her man dancing very close. Her arms around around his neck, his arms low on her back, she leans back and sways showing off her flexibility. His eyes grow big at her
I finish my story with a tightness in my chest, and look up at the silent group once more.
she finishes every last bite. I take a swig, set the bottle down, and study it as the liquor burns a path
I nod like I understand, but in reality I don’t understand how she can do this to me, to us. She gives me one more kiss before she tiptoes back to her
The dancers in the earliest ballets were highly skilled professionals capable of feats of strength and agility.
Lena listens for the balcony to open, allowing the sounds of the city to pour into the living room. The chaos below offers
I was so drunk by the time it was midnight. I couldn’t walk up the stairs to my bedroom, so I sat still and continued drinking. I’m already drunk, what harm will a little more whiskey do?. Charlotte is probably in her room sleeping. It’s way past her
Luckily I hear her footsteps approaching, closer and closer. I suddenly make the decision to start guzzling the entire bottle. As I hear the slow creaking sound of my door opening “Kiera? Are you in here?” My gulping abruptly gets more aggressive and hurried.
“Come on,” The guy argued, “We’re enjoying ourselves! What are you, her parents?” He opened his mouth to continue, but Jungkook’s fist colliding with his jaw, with enough force to leave anyone reeling, interrupted
Isabella and Carter continue taking shots and drinking other beverages. Time passes and they are both intoxicated.
Lilly!” I demand. She releases a little giggle and teasingly moves her hands. I hop off her
"Two shots of, well," He began, trying to remember his vodka preference. "Fuck it. Surprise me." He winked at the bartender, who simply shrugged it off and leaned down to grab the shot glasses from under the bar.The bartender pushed his hair back before picking the most expensive vodka they carried, pouring two shots. After all, this dude looked and sounded
She doesn’t respond, but as we reach the top she turns around almost immediately to look at me.
P.S. Do not throw away the alcohol. Drink it and enjoy it like it was your last drink just as I did.
A community is a group of people that share a common or similar characteristic with each other. Some communities can also consist of people living together or practice worship. My essay will include the communities that I am part of which are my dance, school and church communities.
I attended DancePlus show On Friday December 2, 2011 at 7:30pm at night. It was performed in the Victoria K. Mastrobounno Theater in New Brunswick, New Jersey. There were four different parts that I saw that day. All of the dances were very interesting and very different from each other. All of the dances had its own unique key factor that separated it from each other. I enjoyed the entire show very well. Out of all the dances I had strong reaction to “Lapa’s Lament”. I believe this specific dance stood out to me compared to the other dances from the show. This show had many different factors that stood out from other shows in the entire performance.
