It was a sunny morning the streets were honking filled with cars. I called my friend over so we could play baseball. Ethan had told me that there was a haunted house on Halloween that was the scariest in town. I was never a big fan of Halloween all the costumes, people coming to your house that's weird. And plus this haunted house we are supposed to go to is right by the woods. “Ethan I don't think i'm going to that place it's right by the woods”. Ethan was looking at me like I was crazy, “ ARE YOU NUTS! We are going no matter what and we are going to bring James as well”. Later that night I was taking the trash out, two tall shadowy figures emerged out of the dark into the streetlight. The men were dressed in clown costumes, thinking to …show more content…
“noah why are you breathing hard”?said mom. I look at her and I just lie to her face “I was just running down the street for fun that's all”. She leaves the room, admittedly I call Ethan tell him about the creepy clowns, of course he doesn't believe me. He brings up the haunted house I just decided to man up and go, and just deal with it. For Halloween i dressed up as a caveman, Ethan was a skeleton, and James was a troll. It was finally here the night where people get candy and get scared to death it was time to go to the haunted house. As me Ethan and James are walking to the haunted house we come upon the forest, the damp dark shadowy forest. And of course Ethan makes the idea “hey we should go through the forest for a shortcut” Ethan said. I stopped him right there “we are not going through that forest there is something weird about it” I said. In a mocking voice Ethan makes fun of me, “yeah you shouldn't go those clowns are properly in there”. James and Ethan laugh. I said “ Alright stop i'm coming”. As we start walking I get that nauseated, nervous feeling in my stomach. I get agitated looking around if something were following us, i asked where we were.Ethan's response did not seem confident,I knew it, we were lost. James started to get scared, “let's just go back” James said. As we started to walk back things did not look right it's like we were going in circles, the same rocks the same trees. James was freaking out screaming at the top of his lungs “HELP!
I leave and head home to start organizing the events that are about to happen. While I’m working on the ideas and making decorations that will fill the haunted house I hear a quiet knock at the front door. I jump in fear that my plan may could be ruined. I walk
“Where should we walk to?” I asked. “I don’t know” said Megan. Elizabeth chimed in saying “let’s just walk around seeing where we end up.” The three of us walked around, and ended up at the playground at Olmsted Elementary School. It was chilly out, but you only needed a sweatshirt. The playground was spooky at night. It felt like someone was hiding waiting for
Homecoming night. As I waited for Liam to show up I paced back and forth. "Sissy you're still here?" Jace asked me. "Yes bubba. I'm waiting on Liam."I said firmly. "Liams coming?" he screamed. "Just to pick me up Jace." I said annoyed. He ran out, I felt a little bad. Jace and Sadie loved Liam, and Liam loved them. As I stopped mid thought I heard a horn honking. "Liams here!" Jace came running back into the family room where I hugged him and my younger sister. "Sorry i'm a little late." Liam apologized. "It's okay." I affirmed. As we drove in silence to the school I decided to break the silence. "Liam," I whispered, "there something I have to tell you." "What's wrong Analise?" he questioned. "I've been seeing things." I admitted. "Like what kind of things?" he asked. "I have seen shadows of things watching me," I shuffled as I said it " I don't know if I want to go to Homecoming." "That's fine we can go back to your house and watch movies." "Thanks for understanding Liam." I
It was a beautiful summers day in the diminutive town of Wadesboro. Perfect for best friends Ashely, Mycah, Brittany, Eric, Jacobi, Frank and I to have some fun. It was merely 2 o’clock p.m., when we decided to go to an open field in the woods to camp out. We all packed our gear and food and anything else to assist us in the camp. We left from my house and started the 30 minute drive to the field. When we arrived there, set both tents up, the boys in one and the girls in another. After everything was complete, we sat on the grass and chatted for a bit. Thinking of activities we can do to have fun, Jacobi shouted aloud, “Lets play hide and seek!”. Everyone agreed to play the game and went to find their hiding spots. While Jacobi counted down from 30, I saw what looked to be a stranger in the distance watching us. I then felt an uneasy feeling. I glanced back to where it was, and
The time was 8:34 p.m. on a warm night Halloween night. The strong winds swayed the trees back and forth violently and the moon wasn’t out. It was clearly not typical to have this kind of weather in Maycomb this time of year. You can hear the animals make their noises as they prepare for nightfall. Scout and I were heading back home from the pageant at the high school. We walked through the bushes and trees until Scout stops us. She said that she had left her shoes and I told her to get them tomorrow. As we continued on our journey home, I had heard something in the woods. I wasn’t quite sure what it was exactly at first but I assumed it was Cecil since he was the one to try to scare us earlier that night. We continued to walk home. Suddenly,
I woke up this morning feeling anxious about what was going to happen today. I had this feeling something was going to happen and that lots of us would die. That he enemy would come. I didn’t like the feeling, so I woke up Edward next to me by poking him in his cheek. Automatically, he tried to slam away my hand, thinking it was a rat. When he discovered it was me, not a rat, he asked me why I had woken him up. I told him about my feeling, and the look on his face was painful to look at. So I asked him if we could look for some breakfast, since everybody was sleeping. My stomach hurt, and I knew his did too, because we hadn’t eaten for days. The smell of gas was unbearable, so we covered our mouths with our
“Will He ever wake Up?” “I wish I was there.” All these things I heard until I saw a man. I stopped In a gas station to fill up on gas and get something to eat.But then In the darkness I heard a terrifying troubling noise. “It’s your time Mr.Mayor.” I heard this voice from the darkness. Then out of the darkness a creepy man more creepy than a haunted house at halloween came rushing at me. Adrenalin filled my veins. I dropped the gas and ran I got in my car and sped off. While Driving down the damp, deserted, and dark street I was wondering why did he want me out of all people why me. I decided to go to a hotel in RealersVille where no one can find me. I paid my fee for my hotel room and speed to room. I dead bolted and locked the door. My heart pounding I sit on my bed and wondered “What is happening?” I woke up but I don't remember anything from yesterday.I walked downstairs and asked for a newspaper the day before the bell hop said “We don't like pranksters here so go back up in your room or leave.” As the mayor of the town before I was disgusted. Now that I think about that I don't even know what this town is called.I go on my phone and I look up FakersVille on the map...It Wasnt there.I hear a knock on my door.I look through the door with the eyes on my pale face.It was the
On August 16, 2006, at exactly 03:00, normality for Fiona Berman ceased to exist and The Richmond Haunting began.
I woke up to my phone buzzing and the smell of breakfast downstairs.I looked at my texts and all my friends were planning on skipping school today. I got out of bed, got dressed, and went downstairs to eat. I grabbed my backpack, got on my school bus and headed to school to meet my friends. We met behind the school, all of us wanted to go on a road trip to see Mt Elbert. While we were deep in the forest we saw a mysterious house. My friends wanted to check it out, so we got out of the car and found a way in through the basement. As soon as we got in I got vague feeling i had been there before. John, Maddie, and Lex used their phone lights so we could see. The basement was very familiar, It smelled like
I turned on my flashlight, it was the first thing that came to my mind. As, the bright light flashed its way on, were the “shadow” I saw a couple seconds ago was gone, it must have gone back into the house have to check this out. I decided to go into the “Haunted Mansion”, I walked in and every step I took, the wooden floor made a loud “CREAK!!!” The lights are so dim, that you can’t see anything far away into the darkness, this was literally a maze. I walked until I noticed there was a staircase heading up to this second floor. I took a couple steps towards the stairs then All of sudden, the most creepiest sound in history of sounds filled my ears, it was the sound of tiny footsteps of children running around… I took one step onto the stairs and it made a huge noise. Then the running noise stopped. I listen, my heart stopped……
“When I got home, I saw a shadow in the living room, and then I heard the sink in the kitchen, but when I went in there nobody was in the room.” I said with fear in my voice.
It was late at night around 10:00pm, I had just got out of school. It’s dark and windy, and there is no soul in sight. I was scared out of my mind I usually get out of school at 7:00pm but tonight I stayed back for extra credit, and all of a sudden when I looked at my watch I noticed it was 10:00pm. I frantically walked to the bus stop which was a few blocks from my school in hopes that I could catch a bus ride home, but there was no bus. Then I decided I should walk to my boyfriend’s house and see if he could walk me to my house witch was a scarier neighborhood then his. But when I got there he wasn’t at home he was still downtown at his dad’s store. Now I’m all alone, and something in my gut told me that tonight wasn’t going to end well for me.
High upon a lonely hill surrounded by a great dark forest, stood an ancient, crumbling manor, known as the Haunted House. The windows were all smashed and it looked like the house was used a long time ago and was never used again. The font gates were as old as the hills. It belonged to a greedy old man, he was as short as a stump, he was really grumpy and fat who everyone said he was a wizard. Even though he owned the immense haunted house he didn’t dare to go inside because he was frightened like a child in dark, so he lived in the small cottage in the grounds of the manor, with just his black cat for company. He was as lonely as the master who has go to war, but hews happy, because he had a true love. His true love was gold, and he had
When I walked into the haunted house to explore it. The old porch was creaking I was shaking. As I walked it the door slammed behind me. I got scared tried to open the door there was no budge. I ran to the back door of the house it was looked too there was no way I was getting out. I thought to myself “this house is haunted”.
“In the year of 1989, there was a street named Elm, in the state of Wyoming. Few chose to live on that street, and they all knew about the haunted house, up on the hill, on the west side of town, coming off of Elm. Once, I spent the week with some friends and, Halloween came upon us, while I stayed with them.” I was telling my first-grade brother and his friends stories to scare them out of their wits. Besides, no one wants little kids tagging along with you to go trick or treating, when you could go with your friends to Haunted Houses, and not ones set up by the town hall. “We were just about to pass the house, not thinking anything of it, when we heard a moan coming from Old Man Reaper’s house.” Their eyes grew wide with fear.
