ABSTRACT
This project describes the different types of digital modulation techniques that are implemented in modern communication systems. Currently most of the wireless transmission and radio communication systems adapts digital modulation techniques because of its ability to provide high information capacity, better data encryption, greater noise immunity and easier multiplexing of different forms of inputs/information such as sound, video etc. All the experiments and data collected are obtained using software called Simulink. Digital modulation techniques have the ability to convey more information in the same channel than analog modulation techniques this also implies that same amount of data can be stored in less space. The basic techniques which include Amplitude shift keying, Phase Shift keying, Frequency Shift keying and Quadrature Phase shift keying have been demonstrated by creating a model using the blocks and channels available in the Simulink library. The signal used in all of the experiments which is to be transmitted is a randomly generated sequence of bits and the carrier signal used is a high frequency sinusoidal signal. All of these experiments vary a characteristic (frequency, amplitude and phase) of the carrier sinusoid to represent the signal that is to be transmitted. A separate communication system has been developed which accepts sound as input signal which is digitally modulated and the corresponding output is obtained accordingly.
This example focuses on the use of satellite networking, to broadcast the signal from the satellite, to the ground station. This type of technology involves the use of Zigbee at small distances, and WiMax for greater distances.
The objective of this lab is to learn how to use the Tutor TIMS software to build and analyze a communication system. This lab required us to use Audio Oscilloscope, Adder and Tuneable LPF in order to get the required frequency signals.
The proposed concept is implemented as a prototype and this document gives a detailed insight about the prototype. The prototype considers wired and wireless communication and the data exchanges between them. All the simulations are executed on a windows laptop.

Using the COM-5102, the SDR will transmit the radio signal, this pulg in will add associated MAC addresses and UDP headers onto the project automatically [15]. The VHDL code has values that can be changed slightly to accommodate UDP or TCP transmission. For the project, UDP headers will be used.
Throughout time the need for an efficient way transmit codes were essential to success, after World War I and into the start of World War II American forces was running out of ideas for codes. The USA had always used the white’s soldiers for the code talkers because there were easy to train, and a abundance of them to choose making them the practice choose for code talkers. Until Philip Johnston, he was an initiator that worked for a Marine Corps ' program. As a kid and into his teens he grew up on a Navajo reservation and his dad was a missionary. Whit all the time that Johnston spent of the reservation he became familiar with the people and their language. With the use of the Navajos it grained equality for Native Americans which was not found in the late 1800’s, and soon it gained them a greater respect by the whites into today’s age.
This article is a survey of all aspects of communications high- altitude platforms (HAPs), this balloons and aircraft stationed in the stratosphere between 17 and 22 kilometers. The technique can be considered as a new solution for the provision of telecommunications services. This poll contains some information and benefits . The following table shows the basics of the types of high- altitude platforms and comparison of HAPs, terrestrial networks , satellites , followed by information frequency bands allocated for high- altitude platform stations . The survey concludes types of applications and services offered by this technology.
There is a wide range of communications technology that is used by the Public Services. Every Public Service uses some form of technological equipment as it is vital to carry out their duties effectively and efficiently. Depending on what job they are required to do, they will use different types of technological equipment. Communications technology being, The Police National Computer, Roaming network, Radios, Cormorant digital voice, Local Area Network and Satellite communications.
The signal that is being sent is converted into a series of pulses that record information using binary code. For example sound and light starts as analog signals and are then converted into digital sound or light signals using binary coding to convert the sound or light
Digital systems occupy a great place in our daily life and the evolution of these systems concentrated on the speed of the transmission and the reception of the data. In this paper, we present a comparative study between pipelines coordinate rotation digital computer consisting of one stage and other height stages with the generator of the sinusoid for generating two complex digital modulators of amplitude and
Although relatively happy with the SNA application and services by providing TCP/IP capability and internet access. The goal was met in a remarkably short time. Over the course of 30 months, DMS built a statewide TCP/IP network, began
According to the Health Recourses and Services Administration, “Tele health is the use of electronic information and telecommunications technologies to support long distance clinical healthcare, patient and professional health related education, public health, and health administration”(para 1) . Technology is has taken over our every-day lives and has slowly integrated into our health care system. According to Ronda Hughes, “Tele nursing is the use of technology to deliver nursing care and conduct nursing practice” (para 3). The two terms are closely related. Tele nursing cannot be defined without first defining the term of tele health, but what does the tele heath and nursing world look like? What does a tele nurse do and how is it a benefit to the patients and/or the nursing profession?
Wireless is the term used to describe any computer network where there is no physical wired connection between sender and receiver, but rather the network is connected by radio waves and or microwaves to maintain communications (Boyds, 2016). Wireless and mobile technologies continue to have a major impact on the global business environment and can be roughly categorized into mobile client devices for interactivity and communications infrastructure. Wireless technology is technology that uses radio waves to transmit and receive data, such as cell phones. It is used more than ever today for data transmission. Mobile
Spring/Summer 2016 is bringing back a feel of 1970s retro with a modern “everyday wear” feel that gives the line a sense of comfort and style. “As we design for the future, we borrow from the past” (Doneger 2016). With baggier and boxier silhouettes becoming trendier and denim showing its face in ways that haven’t been seen in years, this modern throwback essence is giving a new opportunity for the current generation to mix modern closet staples of today with a more relaxed, yet still lively aesthetic that mimics a time before their existence. With that being said, colored leathers, suedes, and tweeds are also reappearing again alongside denim to enhance the feel of relaxed modernism. In that realm, textures are also finding their way to
Multicarrier modulation provides immunity to fading caused by data transmission over mul-tipath fading channels or frequency- selective fading channels. Each of the subchannel expe-riences flat fading due to the decreased bandwidth. Also, due to the increase in the symbol period, it provides enhanced immunity to ISI. Another advantage of multicarrier modulation technique is it can provide better spectral efficiency compared to single carrier modulation, since the spectrum of the subcarrier can be overlapped.
