Do you like bottle flipping? BECAUSE...
Bottle flipping is probably one of the worst activities to entertain yourself with. It wastes water, causes disruption and distraction, and can harm other objects. It is not good to do in general, and it would be better if you did something else for entertainment.
In order to flip a bottle, you must have the majority of water out of the bottle. Therefore, people usually waste 3/4 of their water just to flip the bottle. This is bad for the environment, and a waste of money.
In school or elsewhere, it is hard to talk, teach, learn, or interact while water bottles constantly disrupting the environment. It is hard for the flipper and others to attain or teach anything without the flipping to be stopped.
Bottle
We’ll start with how bottled water means more garbage. Most people, after drinking bottled water throw away the bottle instead of recycling it. This is why 70 million percent of human waste are bottles from water. Plus, a lot of times when you drive down the road the most occasional thing you’ll see are bottles. So, if your going to drink from a bottle then recycle
Michael Hiltzik’s first section of the article is especially important for individuals to know about. I agree 100% with his opinion on bottle water. There are many environmental dangers and unnecessary expenses for bottled water. Countless people don’t discard of their bottled waters in the recycling or trash bin. Eventually, these plastic dangers end up in the ocean and may put marine life in jeopardy.
Water bottle may be hurting the environment and helping it at the same, in theses articles there talking about different things about water bottles. To begin, The article Water, water Everywhere--in bottles by Mike Esterl talked about the different brands of water bottles and if it's better than some soda companies. Also about there prices. The article uses a lot of Logos because there using a lot of facts
Refilling a plastic bottle can have unforeseen consequences. Using a refillable water bottle is better for the drinker’s health than drinking out of plastic bottles only meant to be used once because they are not good quality.“Plastic bottles contain a harmful substance called polyethylene terephthalate, or PET, which is dangerous to human health” (“Think” par. 2). If that is not a serious enough reason, there are even more chemicals that are found in plastic bottles. “BPA has been connected to cases of hormonal issues and even cancer” (Speer par. 4). No one should be consuming harmful chemicals. Use of plastic bottles, whether for
Teachers feel that students are missing out on class time because they go and get a drink of water from the water fountain when they could be learning. My answer to that is, using a reusable water bottle. Reusable water bottles won’t cost any damage to the environment, cost extra money, or allow students to be missing class. It is a win win for both sides! Another reason people believe that bottled water should not be banned is because it is convenient, and easy to grab on-the-go. I agree that bottled water is very convenient and easy to just pick up. But, that one water bottle that you just threw away, could have killed an innocent marine animal in the ocean. That one water bottle could have drenched a fish in deadly chemicals that a normal, human being decided to have and share with his/her family. You have to take in consideration of what could happen to everything around you. Also, why not just fill up a reusable water bottle and just wash it every day? You would be getting the same type of water that you would get in a plastic bottle and it would save you money. Why not save the environment while saving your money? To me, and probably most people with common sense, that answer is very obvious. The last reason why people are unhappy with the want to ban water bottles is because water bottle companies feel that they are being singled-out, and that we should ban sodas or juice boxes because they are not as healthy. Yes, there are other brand of beverages that aren’t as healthy as water. But, why can’t you be the one to share why it is important to keep the environment clean and healthy? Water is used by every single person in the world and if the water brand companies share a word about how we should limit water bottles from schools, then the environment would be a clean, healthy
Making all the plastic for those bottles uses 17 million barrels of crude oil annually. That is the equivalent to the fuel needed to keep 1 million vehicles on the road for 12 months so why are so many people drinking bottled waters? They believe that they are making a healthy choice. But the truth is that tap water is just as safe, often safer than bottled water. In fact, some bottled water is
Many use water bottles as an easy resource for on the go occasions. But they have never really understood the behind the scenes to all the companies involved. Water bottle companies have a very severe impact on people, environments in societies and on how they handle their way of gathering their resources.
Thunk-thunk-thunk. This distracting sound is what comes to mind when many think of bottle flipping. It is distracting for the students who came to school to learn. Bottle flipping makes it much harder for teachers to do their job to teach students. As Dr. Glen Sagers said, “If anybody did it in my class, I would kick them out.”
According to International Bottled Water Association they say that people use water bottles for lot’s of their on reasons and creativity. Also for school if the water fountains were not working then water bottles would be needed.Or when there is a natural disaster and water bottles are the only chooses but there are none what would schools do then.
Bottle Flipping has been keeping our generation occupied for years! Though many parents and teachers may disapprove of this activity, they usually do not realise it’s benefits. After the first flip performed on youtube, it rapidly got more and more popular. It should be supported because it can develop motor skills, patience, and a longer attention span.
Slosh. Clonk. Crush. A sound familiar to anyone who has given the water bottle flipping challenge a shot. Who knew tossing a water bottle up in the air would create such a craze. However, there is more to bottled water than a means to playing a fun game. Bottled water has become a vital part of today’s world. Undoubtedly, bottled water in some way has touched everyone’s life from times of disaster, to underdeveloped countries, and to the American job market, and while some feel bottled water is unsafe for the environment and question the safety of consumer ingestion, alternative eco-friendly materials are being developed, and no
These reasons are why I believe people should not do bottle flipping because of the distracting content. Now think about this, do you really want to be the victim of bottle flipping? I realise that this sounds corny, but your grades in school can really suffer if you don’t spend and focus a good portion of your attention and time to your school
We did a pole and research shows more people are for than against. Water bottle flipping helps in many ways. I hope most people agree with bottle flipping. I have put all responses together and those are my answers. I hope i have convinced you to keep bottle
“One of the biggest challenges facing the bottled water industry is how to respond to the environmental claims levelled against it” (Grocer). Every time someone throws a bottle away, they have taken up more space in a landfill for the next four hundred fifty to one thousand years. Besides the long decomposition rate, water bottles are the cause of several more environmental issues. Overfilling landfills, health hazards caused by refilling, and the economic stresses due to the constant and inconvenient repurchasing are just a few of the negatives water bottles have on us. These plastic pollutants are doing more harm to both the environment and their users than good.
Plastic water bottles are seen and consumed everywhere. Without knowing the deadly effects that water bottles have on the environment, consumers will keep buying them and contribute to the problem. About 17 million barrels of oil are used each year solely to make water bottles
