1. It was hard to get the feet to look realistic. The detailing part was hard to. Like you had to get all the contrast, structure, movement, and realism. It was hard especilly because in my painting my feet were small. Another hard part was getting the right shade. Like ppaint the feet a color and then make it a little darker for the areas that neede shading and dimension to give a realistic/ contrast to distinguish the difference. It was hard to get a shade that wasnt dramatically drker that the feets color.
This both sculpture is of a man, one is looking at a direction, while one is in the middle of a swinging motion. Both sculptures is are made of marble. Marble is “metamorphic rock derived from limestone, composed mostly of calcite”. Back then marble was commonly used in a lot of the sculptures that were made. In the Michelangelo sculpture of David, he is holding something in the lower shoulder, looking at a certain direction. In the Gianlorenzo sculpture, David is holding a weapon, while having a different kind of emotion than Michelangelo’s David. Both sculptures would have taken a long time to do, each one is very detailed, and has their own personal meaning behind why they are the way they are.
There exist distinct differences between the pre-unification Theban and the block statue style that that was initiated in the Twelfth Dynasty. The face and the ears of the Theban style are large and quite conspicuous while the head was proportional to the body size, which looks like there was an exaggeration of artwork. On the other hand, the block statue had small ears in addition to a tiny head compared to the rest of the body. The block statue also had narrow shoulders with arms that were quite thin and no muscles; however, the Theban one had narrow shoulders with some muscles. Additionally, the block statue had thin legs while the Theban one was a bit large and proportional to the body. Additionally, the eyes of the Theban style are outlined
In this painting a group of men appear to be lost at sea. The sky and waves indicate that they are in the middle of a storm; in addition, the wooden raft looks as though it has endured a lot of hardship during the course of their journey. The men are piled up on top of each other in a shape of a pyramid. Some of the men are clothed while others are either halfway clothed or not clothed at all. There are approximately five men dead on this raft and others trying to look for help. At the top of the pyramid two men are holding up shirts trying the gain the attention of something in the background. In doing this all their backs are facing the viewer of the painting except for an older man slouching over a dead crew member.
The concepts that I am having the most difficulty with is finding the femoral arty pulse and doing the math to find out how much medication should be given to a certain animal. My strategies for overcoming my difficultly of finding the femoral arty would be practice on my dogs at home and once I feel confident on finding there I can start to practice finding it on my sisters cats. To overcome my difficulty with the math I am going to do practice problems and make sure i wright each step our completely so I do not mess up the units. With practice writing each step done I should be able to get into a routine and it will help me solve the problems easier.

Do photoshopped pictures need to be labeled as altered? Is it destroying young girls’ confidence? Photoshop has been used to make people appear like they have the perfect body and this has put a lot of pressure on young girls. Although photoshop might make the model look skinnier, magazines and websites should not be able to retouch images without labeling them as altered because it causes unrealistic body expectations, eating disorders, and even more insecurities.
Four hundred twelve billion dollars. That is how much money is spent each year on advertising in the United States, according to a report by Outsell Inc. in 2008 (How Much Money). Marketing is a huge consumer persuasion element in the United States. People are persuaded to buy things from ads in magazines, billboards, and online advertising. Advertisements have been around for a significant amount of time and have drastically changed over the years. Over the past few decades, the view of what being masculine or sexy has changed. The ideology of a male being a masculine or a women being sexy has not changed over the past six decades; the way that the view of male and female body, sexuality, and masculinity are portrayed
Fine arts classes benefit students and schools alike. Fine arts are needed courses, not just as electives, but as core classes that promote learning and creativity in our lives. Fine art provides an avenue for all of learning styles to be utilized during one class period. Which leads to all students being able to understand and benefit from the curriculum. In several academic setting all types of learning may not be used, so a percentage of the class may not be able to fully understand what is being taught. Paintings, like poetry and other forms of literature, are created to be explored and analyzed. Each tells and individual story and has a particular meaning that the artist wants one to take away from from their work. However, every person draws their own conclusions about what the artwork means to them, and this can stem from personal experiences, culture, religion and even the time period the person is in relative to when the painting was created. This is increasingly true when examining works of art from different eras. Each hold separate standards and values in which the artists drew from which largely affects the meaning behind a painting. For example, A Close Call by W. R. Leigh was painted in the post-impressionist era, and John Constable’s

The first two drawings had a set requirement. The art piece had to be the original drawing of a fruit or vegetable and in addition to that the first drawing was asked to be fully rendered using pencil and had to be done in pencil crayon for the second artwork.
Alice in Wonderland released in 2010 is an amazing visual film. The movie clip I have chosen is called, “Reunited”. This clip is focused on the reunion of Alice and the Mad Hatter after she thought the Mad Hatter was dead, due to the red queen wanting to take off his head. Mia Wasikowska plays the role of Alice Kingsleigh, Johnny Depp plays the role of the Mad Hatter, and Anne Hathaway plays the role of the white witch. The cinematography is just amazing in this film; from the makeup, to the costumes, to the amazing visual artistic experience. The film itself is nothing without all of the visual effects.
