Everyone Has an Opinion
Does everything happen for a reason? Better question does everything that happens to one person has a reason for happening? Was this meant for someone to learn something out of this situation? Those are questions asked every day by millions of people. People, on a regular basis, are left in thin air trying to figure out why things happen to them, but one just has to realize that everything is in God’s plan. One has to realize there is a devil that is working on destroying people’s lives, especially if they are God’s children. There are many sources telling readers they’re not the only one to go through a difficult time that other people have bigger problems; therefore, the author gives the reader scriptures from the

She explains how is a child with a disability is for a reason that one has to learn from. Yes, she gives reasonable comments, but who can explain why specific things does happen? Agrawal explains how some people tell others that the reason why his or her child has a special need is because he or she did something evil in his or her past life. That answer is not right because that is not the case. What he or she does in his or her life time does not affect his or her future children. Mankind themselves do not know the reason why children are born like with disabilities. She does not just speak about children with special needs in general she also asks why there is so many diseases? Why is there so many violence? Why does God let all these things happen? She brings up many great questions that can make the reader think. However, one also has to realize that there is a devil in this world that wants evil to happen, and everything that happens is not always Gods fault or …show more content…
Nobody, not even the closest person to him or her, knows what one is going to be in the future or what God has plan. One can only know what his or her plan is if he or she follows God and the Holy Ghost will guide one to his or her life. “Gods purpose for your life” speaks about a great desire is for one to have a relationship with the Great All Mighty. Charles Stanley is from a Methodist ministry and he states that “once one finds that encounter with God nothing is the same anymore.” Which is true and everything that one went through in the past has brought one to Gods feet and Stanley says Old Testament principles governing human behavior and relationships are still applicable to people’s lives. Everyone has his or her own opinion, but there are only a few that are sharing the right opinion in this
God allowed what I thought was horrible to happen to me, to prune me. He wanted me like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season. (Psalm 1) If we want to grow, we need to accept God’s will in our lives. If we try to fix them ourselves or question him, we will struggle like a tree with swallow roots. My son and mom are in blessed health, I have become the hidden women spoke of in 1ST Peter 3:3-4 and I now call my husband Jonah. GOD IS AWESOME!
It is true in life that everything happens for a reason. It is also true to say that sometimes it is all about being in the right place, at the right time. There was never a more prominent example of this than a traumatic summers evening, only a few years ago.
The one thing many people do not talk about is vocation. Gordon T. Smith declares there are three different forms of vocation. First is the general call which is the invitation to follow Christ. Second is the specific call, this is unique to each person and can be classified as their mission in this world. Third is the immediate responsibilities; these are the task God requires of us daily (p. 10). As a Christian, one's vocation is their response to God; their call is to serve Him in life and reflect who He is to others, no matter the stage of life they are in or the occupations they are call to pursue. Occupations may change through life, but the vocational call remains consistent despite the
In Christianity, the purpose of this life is to better your relationship with God and to know Him better. This is also proven in Job 22:21 that if you align yourself with God and are in harmony with that relationship that you will receive good things in this world.
I must find my calling if I am to truly live my life to the fullest and to live out God’s plan for my life. God is the only one who can help me find my purpose. He has had a plan for my life long before I was even born and that God has a purpose for me that no one else could fulfill. “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11” (NIV). This means that no matter what I do as long as I am in accordance with God’s will, everything will turn out for the best in the end. God has promised to give me hope and a future and to bless my life. “For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do, Ephesians 2:10” (NIV). With this knowledge I know that God has created me exactly the way I should be and that he has given me talents and skills enough to do all he asks of me to do.
To an extent, I think that free will is an answer to the questions of God’s existence and why there is still evil in the world. In order to have free will, one must be able to make a choice. A choice between good and evil, right and wrong, or moral and immoral. But another point that is brought up is interesting to me. What about the things that are not one’s choice? Things like cancer and sickness, natural disasters, and ultimately death from things that are out of one’s control. If a all powerful and loving God does exist, why do these things? Our book says “But once one recognizes that a natural order is required for meaningful human freedom, the possibility emerges that human beings might inadvertently get caught in the gears of nature’s mechanism.” Growing up in the christian church, I was taught that everything happens for a reason. Some verses that jump out to me are:
God has a unique purpose for each and every one of us. Sometimes life gets so busy that we forget what our purpose is in life, but God has a way of guiding
In Pieces of Why by K. L. Going, Tia, a teenage singer, uncovers the secrets of her childhood. Tia lives in a small apartment with her mother; ever since Tia’s youth, her father has been in prison for a robbery. After the day Tia’s father left, her mother never looked back. Tia and her mother never speak about what happened during her childhood.
“We all long to be in the flourishing section, but we stay in the safe section”(Mr. Mustard.) I want to be able to stand up for what is right no matter who it is for or when it is. “ For I know the plans I have for you, Declares the Lord, Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future(Bible Gateway.) This is has helped through this year because it has helped me to know that I am the temple of God and I am the body of Christ. I know that my plans and God’s plans are different. I learned that through this year. I always wanted to make my own plans like I will study this or I want to do this. But it I have found out that it doesn't work that way. I know I have to believe in him and he will show me the way. “Also tht I am the body of Christ, when God looks down onto this earth, He will look down on us and see the image of Christ in us”(Pastor Matt.) That just blew my mind, I don’t know why, but it did. That is why I want to grow more in my faith and my action because we all are made in Christ image, and we should fulfill
In the Outward Focused Life by Dave Workman, he covers and explains many topics and ideas regarding Christianity. He also guides you through how to become a better Christian and what your are suppose to do to help others and serve God. The main point of this book is how to be a servant to God, instead of serving yourself. A couple other points discussed is how to surrender to God and let him transform you and also through out the book Workman talks about different stories about people giving to others and God gives to them. Although its not just about giving to yourself.
When asking yourself why God would allow bad things to occur or bad people to do specific things, I see to things happening. One is many lose their faith in God, especially if multiple things happen within in a specific time frame. These people lose their faith in a higher power and hope if they repeatedly asked for help or guidance in prayer to God. Now some people just have times of weakness like this and are able to return to their faith, but
I believe that human being’s all have an underlining purpose in life and it is within their nature to realize their potential and fulfill their goals. Human beings are driven to seek wholeness in their lives and that will always be a continuing journey for most humans. Humans adapt to life’s changes as they encounter various challenges. How one handles those various situations; will directly affect their behavior and personality. I believe humans are capable of dictating the outcome of their destiny.
It is also the same argument people have for whatever trials and tribulations life brings someone. Why would God do this to happen to me? I have heard this question, or something like it, more times than I can remember. I don’t think that it is God doing these things as much as He is letting them happen. He does this in order for people to use them as learning experiences and to grow. This gives us the inner strength to overcome whatever comes along and to help others that are less fortunate so that they can also survive.
Biblically, we see many instances of God’s plan for each life and the ways that plan is carried out. Similarly, I have found that, while it may not align with my plan, God has my story written in order to glorify Himself and bring about His kingdom. I consistently rely on prayer to provide guidance in my decision making process and feel much more grounded when I choose to listen to His calling rather than my own. Revelation 3:8 (NIV) tells us that He alone has the power to open and close doors. I assess this as a means of guidance from Him. I look for opportunities and try to walk away from those things that are not fruitful. In this way, I take my cues from Him through prayer, inner peace and external signs. I believe in and have experienced divine intervention and direction.
Children with intellectual disabilities go to school without knowledge of using the rest room on their own. We teach them for a long time until they know. They are discriminated at home as incapable of anything from childhood. They lock them in without any hope of contributing in the family. If a child with disability is a girl, no hope that she will be married and bring money or dowry at home. If parents had power for death arrangements, children with disabilities would be voted to die first before the rest of the family. Living with children with disabilities requires a strong heart[…]. No one wants to take care of a child with disabilities […]. Even when we teach children them, our fellow teachers ask us, why do you like to work with children with disabilities? Do you receive extra allowance for teaching them? They tell us: “I cannot afford to deal with them. Staying with them, I will be spitting all time, and I would not be able to eat.” I consider these children as the poorest of the poor compared to children coming from rural areas.
