IT’S DOWNRIGHT INFURIATING, THE CALM and unbothered demeanor of his professor up against draco’s very evident impatience and anger. barely anything seems to make snape lose his cool, but draco’s always been too in touch with his negative emotions to warrant that same kind of composure. nonetheless, he listens, and, well, TRIES to oblige. his eyes close, his breathing deepens and slows, and the hand holding his wand tightens around it. draco rummages through his mind to try and find something worthwhile to hang onto in order to cast the charm, and it admittedly takes a while ( snape must think that’s pathetic, but he shuts out that thought out quickly ) but he thinks he found something. it’s of his mother – his mother and him, precisely.

Mazower’s Dark Continent Europe’s Twentieth Century is about a factual and historical perspective on events in Europe during difficult times. In the prologue, Mazower discusses changes in Europe being less political and more about bringing people or communities together past realities. From changes with liberal democracy, communism, and fascism, there is a lot that Mazower has to discuss. He also states,” wounds of the continent cannot be dismissed.” which leads the reader to believe that what Europe has gone through is more than what most already comprehend. This book is about the differences in values and ideologies and how they must be taken seriously on a global level. The struggles that Europe went through, from Hitler and Stalin’s rule, to the dissipation of Imperialism, and the overall evolution of boundaries in Europe and issues in geography are popular topics of discussion in
As you might have guessed Hermione and Ron told me about what happened at Hogwarts. About the demon following you around, the fact that you agreed to become Voldemort 's apprentice and the death of your muggle family.
Starting in Chapter 6 Gladwell presents us with the mysterious and seemingly inexplicable series of events that occurred in Harlan, Kentucky in the 19th century to introduce the enormous effect of cultural legacies.
Gladwell writes in this passage about how the way people think can be crazy and altered based on where they come from. People might disagree with this and he brings that up saying “ we are often wary of making these kinds of broad generalizations about different cultural groups” and far point to bring up. However he knows and isn’t afraid to say statements a little out there. Gladwell in his writing I have noticed brings up points that people don’t also want to or even recognize. He bring up honor which can be wounded very easily just as easy as people’s pride. Another thing people don’t like to talk about unless they are boasting about it but when it is hurt blood will be shed. Which is in fact deranged to think that people can’t put away
Montag has the responsible for the burning of books , he is the future of America's firefighters.
The start of this book serves to show just how wide reaching the devastation Voldemort causes. It shows us how he not only effects the wizarding world but also causes significant damage to the muggles. This sections also shows us that not all muggles are ignorant of the wizarding world in particular the muggle prime minister is always aware of the wizarding world when in office. This communication between the minister of magic and the muggles prime minister make sense as there are some issues caused by the wizarding world which spill over and effect muggles. In the visit to Spinner’s End we see Snape and discover that Voldemort has plans for Draco. I find it hard to believe that Voldemort would trust Draco with anything important seen as he is only 16 but then again Rob Stark was leading an army at 16 so maybe Draco is able to handle the difficult task that Voldemort gave him.

Ichabod Crane left the Van Tassel estate shouting unintelligible streams of words in an attempt to heal his wounded pride. His cacophonous excuses rang out through the fields of abundance that he had so longed for just hours earlier, and so with great dignity he refused to even glance at them. In this manner, he rode the disabled donkey with his chin jutting upward and his shoulders set with the weight of his ego.
Draco's heart beats loudly in his chest, and he thinks of how when he kisses her, the next day, he doesn't have as many panic attacks. He thinks about the genealogy lessons she had taught him, using the dust on the floor to make her figures, making him realize that if purebloods didn't become more tolerant, they would die from inbred diseases. He thinks about the creatures he speaks of and how he keeps repeating their characteristics in his head as a mantra as he watches the other death eaters torture innocent muggles, because if she can believe in them, then she can believe in him as well. Finally, she
Snape was slowly making his way up the stairs. He was preparing himself for what was about to happen. “What are you waiting for,” Bellatrix said to Draco, “Kill him…now.”
