Abuse of narcotics has become one of the unfavorable epidemics. Drugs come in a different variety but at the end all cause the same harm. The number of Drug abusers rises on the daily. Drugs ruin life’s but with further knowledge drug abuse can be terminated. Alcohol can cause harm to your insides, such as the liver, Pancreas, and heart. It can cause dehydration and getting to a certain point it becomes dangerous and hospitalization may be needed. Drugs come up with the athletes as an open door to success, most of the time why they are attracted to the ideas. Commonly what happens is that are tired, and they use everything they can to keep up. Most are promised they’ll have super strength, and higher energy, even a lower chance for injures. Drugs are said to be the answer for most, but are completely wrong. Rehab can consist of going to a center and staying for a given time, or just going every few days for sessions. Some get forced to go to rehab as a different choice rather than going through jail time or further charges. Rehab has many different ways of how they help, verbal, or a psychiatrist, sometimes it even includes activities. Rehab has many positive work for the drug abusers. Most of the time users become cured and no longer need help. Rehab is one of the best cause it gives you time alone in a different environment to really focus on yourself. There is evidence saying that athletes would use drugs if they knew that taking them would ensure they would win but not be caught. This shows that if there was no risk many of our athletes would put their bodies under too much stress by putting harmful products into their systems.
The effects of ethanol on humans starts when the alcohol enters the bloodstream, and the more alcohol that enters the bloodstream, there’s a higher risk for effects. Some of the effects include, “reduced inhibitions, slurred speech, motor impairment, confusion, memory problems, concentration problems, coma, breathing problems, and even death. The reason why athletes are so tempted to take drugs for an event, is all because of the fame you get when an athlete's comes first in the sport. Studies shows that companies assign the best athletes in movies, commercials , and sponsorships, which means they get paid each time the movie/commercial gets paid. Did you know that when athletes take steroids their chances of dying in the next five years is very high. The reason why this happens is because the human body can’t develop so fast in a short period of time.

The consumption of alcoholic beverages can negatively affect your health mentally and physically. Although alcohol is normally used for social reasons and in moderation can be okay there still can be negative consequences. Certain situations can cause major issues down the road also, for instance; if you start drinking at an early age you are likely to have future problems, and if a woman is pregnant and she drinks alcohol the baby could have serious birth defects. Not to mention that there are over thirty different types of diseases that stem from heavy alcohol intake. Something that will be talked about a little later is how people often turn to alcohol for comfort, attempting to suppress their emotions or thoughts although this never truly solves their problem.
The aim of sport is to play fair and to have fun. When playing on a sport field, everyone is treated equivalently. If drugs were used by athletes the only thing they use it for, is to win. Winning isn't everything. Sport is more of a way to show off your talents and skills, not to be a lazy sloth and take drugs. More importantly is that you should keep your body healthy naturally and rewarding yourself with all the hard workouts.

Alcoholics are also at risk for developing cancer in the mouth, throat, esophagus and even the liver. You can also develop psychiatric problems such as depression and anxiety which may lead to suicide. Woman who are pregnant shouldn’t drink alcohol because it will cause damage to the fetus.
