The story of Protein Once upon a time in a far off nucleus, lived a king named DNA. DNA had no family, no friends, and was extremely lonely. Well one day, a wicked witch named DNA/RNA polymerase came and demanded the DNA’s attention. He took extra care of her and asked if he could have a wish. She says that she knows what he wants and warns him to be careful of what he wishes for. She told him that he would not have to be lonely, but at of pain. He agrees and the witch casts the spell of transcription on him. DNA is copied from the spell creating a beautiful princess mRNA. DNA finally has a friend to spend time with. They talk and dance until suddenly he gets really sick. He is surprised at first, but soon realizes it's the cost he has to pay. The second part of the spell continues, by ripping apart DNA’s double helix into two single strands, turning his deoxyribose into ribose, but it keeps his phosphate group, creating a pair of RNA. When she arrives she is taken to the rRNA in the ribosome and is taken care of. She tells the rRNA of the terrible things that happened to the king. They tell her it all part of the plan to make a queen or two strands of DNA. She finally feels better and rRNA treats her with a translation, which consists of finding the right tRNA to be paired with and live happily ever after. She is soon swarmed by thousands of tRNA who are trying to find the right codon to match their anticodon. Finally, she finds the perfect match, a tall handsome prince that is kind and loving. After many dates, he finally asks her if he can attach her codons to his anticodons. She says yes and they are wedded right away. He gives her a puppy named amino acid who pairs them together to make a protein baby. They live happily ever after in a beautiful home on the
