Egypt and Mesopotamia had many different view on life their views on religion, geography, their government, their beliefs on the afterlife, their relationships between the gods and humans, and etc. The differences can be built off where they were built, the amount of land they had access to, the number of resources they had to, and how their environment was in everyday life. They also had similarities in the fact that they were hard working in their everyday life, the belief of what was a man’s responsibility and what was a females responsibility. Egypt had a different religion from Mesopotamia. While Egypt believed in the pharoahs and how they had eternal life, the Mesopotamians feared their gods they believed that everything bad came from their god. The egyptians started the process of mummification to preserve the bodies for the beginning of the afterlife, they would remove every organ from the body of the person and wrap them up, they placed the bodies in tombs and inside a pyramids. “On this tomb they would place something called a Negative Confession, which portrays the deceased person …show more content…

In Egypt though you were not allowed to move up in rank whatever class rank you were born in is the one you stayed in there was no changing. Mesopotamia was divided into city-states so the politics was spread more widely. In Egypt because you could not move up in rank it was more stable. The people knew their roles and how to play them. Egypt leader of the governement was the pharoah they would make a statue of each leader.
