El Chupacabra: Fiction Or Fact? Kamogelo Mothoagae The chupacabra is one of the most notorious monsters out there. It is an animal native to the Americas. In Spanish this word literally means goat-sucker. The chupacabra is known to steal and drink the blood of goats and other small animals. The first sighting of this fierce beast was reported in March 1995 (making it one of the youngest legends), Puerto Ricco, although since those first sightings this vampire-like animal there have been many video sightings of El Chupacabra, all over the Americas. Is it at all possible that this animal is real? There is no actual evidence of this animal existing aside from eyewitnesses from dozens of people all over the states and in Southern America as
El chupacabra is a legendary creature that has been running around Mexico, and various parts of Centralcentral America after its initial sitting in March 1995 in Puerto Rico when a farmer found his 150 livestock animals were dead bloodsuck. But the chupacabra also dates back in Mayan culture stories reveal a creature with a bat or lizard like face two arms and has the ability to turn into a statue. It even had a sharp snout that lends itself as a service that could suck blood from animals. And findings have been found identify terms like “goat sucker” in Mayan literature
While the Chupacabra is fairly new to us, it does date back to the 1970’s. In the 1970’s legend says in the city of Moca, Puerto Rico there was a so called vampire (Sheppard Software). They were also referred to as “livestock- Predators”. Whether you believe it or not the Chupacabra reports of clean bloodless attacks remain. How? Where? There was

patients.”(Mendal). Whether a Chupacabra is actually an easy creature to hunt and kill is not
Before the 15th century, the Indians in the Americas were not connected with the world and would remain that way until Columbus's exploration. In the beginning of 15th century, the Aztecs were the dominant group in Mesoamerica leaded by Montezuma, the last leader, before the Spanish conquest. In 1519, Hernan Cortez led the Spanish mission to explore and conquer the New World. This paper will compare three primary sources about this event. First, an informing letter sent from Cortez to King Charles V, the king of Spain. Second, the Broken Spears which is an Indian recollection about the conquest of Mexico. Lastly, Bernal Diaz’s (one of Cortez’s men) account was written by him to share his experience with Aztec
In the reading “Monsters” By Andrew J. Hoffman in the section by Mike Davis called “Monsters and Messiahs” talk about the Urban Legend The Chupacabra. In the section, Davis uses the word “Messiahs” in discussing The Chupacabra because the monster was considered a leader of a particular group. The particular group would have to be in Mexico The Chupacabra was first brought in Puerto Rico. But then travel to California in the city of San Fernando. The Chupacabra has a made a big impact on people's viewing. The chupacabra is an urban legend, it is combined with varieties of animals put together. The chupacabra was called a Messiah because it was a lightning rod for immigrant anxiety. Meaning whenever something tragic would happen in the community
First, the Pishtaco is also known as Kharisiri. The Pishtaco is a cannibalistic monster; however, his appearance is tall, pale skin, and often wearing old and simple clothes. The Pishtaco’s weaknesses are silver and cutting off their proboscis will kill them. The Pishtaco always kill the victim to eat it, and get youth, and health. Fatalities will happen if a pishtaco does not have control.
There are many different de-scriptions of the chupacabra from the several sightings of them, but none of them have been confirmed, the one that is most common and considered to be the original of these de-scriptions is that it is a bipedal creature with long legs and arms, stands about three to five feet tall, has a large oval shaped head, alien wrap-around eye, and a distinctive row of spikes going down the creatures spine. The creature known as the chupacabra is thought to be a fox, possum, raccoon chime-ra, an organism that is a combination of multiple different organisms, in the 1950s. People have said to have seen it suck the blood out of small animals and livestock (Radford “mys-tery”). The chupacabra got its name from a combination of two Spanish words, these words are “chupar” meaning “to suck” and “cabra” meaning “goat” (Lusted
Chupacabra is Spanish for “goat sucker”. The creature’s name derives from stories in Latin America of several dead goats with puncture wounds in their necks and all the blood drained from their bodies.
I believe the most logical explanation to the Chupacabra is a coyote or dog that is suffering from a severe case of sarcoptic mange mites. The evidence behind all of the Chupacabra samples directly points to the fact that it is only a coyote. I feel this way because every single supposed Chupacabra was proven to be a coyote with this disease. It also explains why people believed the creature to be hairless and makes sense. I was drawn to this explanation because I always believe in science, and most of the time it is proven to be correct. Although, this explanation doesn't account for exactly how the Chupacabra was able to suck it's preys blood, since coyotes and dogs don't have fangs only claws. It also doesn't account for the fact that a
The big hairy beast that roams around in the woods has a name. Some call it Bigfoot and some call it Sasquatch but no matter what its name is everybody wonders, is it real? Most likely if you ask your parents, friends, or family if they have seen the beast, they will say no and that it’s just a myth but some believe that Bigfoot is oh so very real. Some believe that the beast is a large person who has been lost in the woods and has never found his way home. Others say that it’s some kind of ape and I believe that it’s none of those things and that it’s something no one has ever scientifically discovered. I almost don’t even believe that because unless there is hard proof, how can I really believe?
Diaz often analogizes religious worship of native deities to Satanism, criticizing Moctezuma that “those whom they look upon as gods are not so, but are devils, which are evil things, and if their looks are bad their deeds are worse and they could see that they were evil and of little worth” (139). To emphasize the devil-like characteristics of indigenous gods, Cortés warns Moctezuma how “these Idols hold it that they are deceiving you” (152) and Diaz describes Huichilobos, their god of War, as monster-like, with a “broad face and monstrous and terrible eyes” (150). During Cortés tour of the temple of Huichilobos, Diaz describes how “there was another small tower which was also an Idol house, or a true hell, for it had at the opening of one gate a most terrible mouth such as they depict, saying that such there are in hell” (154) and then further describes the idol house as “the Infernal Regions” (154) in order to emphasize the Satanic representations of Nahuatl religions. The creature had also learned how to swim long distances, because it began to appear on the North American mainland. By late April farmers in 11 Mexican states reported dozens of vampiric attacks, most often on goats. Mexican officials admitted that the animal casualties were genuine, but placed the blame on coyotes and bats driven to desperation by the recent drought.
Pablo Escobar had a great impact on drug trade to the U.S. in the 1980s. How he got into cocaine, how he smuggled, it shows and how he was brought down.
I choose to research “El Pablo Escobar”, because his lifestyle caught my eye. I instantly caught interest in wanting to know more of what he’s like. Other people in the world think El Pablo Escobar was born from hell, I think he was a person trying to survive in this cruel world. We all do things that we’re not proud of, but that’s just the nature of life. We do unusual things that some people just don’t understand, some of us grew up poor or mentally abused in our own mind. Creates people like El Pablo Escobar who become so violent in nature, they become the wolf not the sheep. I’ll be also writing about the way he grew up to become so successful in the person he became, and the ways he gained power.
