The movie is about Eli who carries a book that will save and redeem the whole humanity. His task was to bring the book in a safe place where after a nuclear apocalypse the setting is in the desert. He travels in the wasteland where there is nothing and no life in order to fulfill his destiny in helping in the salvation of mankind. It was a survival of men for himself, Eli travelling alone, hunting for food, searching for water, finding shelter and fought some desert bandits soon encounters Carnegie and his gang. They lived a violent and low life wherein Carnegie’s focus is to expand territory and rule over others and lead them to a miserable, poor and crime driven life using the power of a certain book which Eli carry. He was accommodated by Carnegie where he met his blind wife Claudia together with the daughter Solara, Carnegie then send Solara to seduce Eli but he rejected him and instead share her food, the grace and prayer. After that Carnegie heard Solara’s word which is quite familiar for him; it was the words that was in the book he have been looking. Through Solara, he then found out that Eli contains the book, Eli then leaves the town with Solara following him while Carnegie with his gang searches for him and plans to take him down to steal the book so he can use the power for his own desire. In an economic aspect, I can connect the book for it shows scarcity, because during the nuclear apocalypse every copy of the book was intentionally destroyed and only Eli has

Throughout the term I have begun experiencing movies in a different way. The class has taken ideas of cinematography, theory, and film history and practically applied it to physically watching movies. By breaking down scenes and movies as a whole, the way I look at films in general has developed. A reflection on two of the films from this term, Casablanca (Curtiz, 1942) and North by Northwest (Hitchcock, 1959) will carry the bulk of the essay. Though, I will also be discussing how this class changed the way I saw a movie just a few weeks ago. Casablanca’s script and acting are of particular caliber, and North by Northwest unfortunately does not deliver with the dialogue and casting of lead actor Cary Grant. Though, overall, they both
Personally, the book taught me a lot about how people deal with situations when under pressure, people’s need for power and how easy it really if for a war to break out and I found that in my mind I could easily link what was going
What finally breaks down Charles Foster Kane is having Susan leave him. His need for control, and the inability for Susan or others to continue to comply with that need, send him into a frenzy in which he destroys the room Susan was staying in during their huge vacation in the Florida Everglades. From the room he takes a snow globe, and he is heard saying the words “rose bud” the first time by someone else. He walks into a hallway that has many mirrors, and this symbolizes Citizen Kane as a whole. This scene reflects the fragmented nature of the film. The life of Charles Foster Kane is told through the perspectives of several other people, and, due to this, as no person can be entirely unbiased, truthful, or even knowledgeable of the facts when recalling interactions with another person, we never get a complete picture of who Kane really is. Dozens of figures of Kane can be seen through the mirror, and this relates to how there are many images of Kane that can be derived from listening to the recollections of those who were close to him.
My project and the book connect in many ways. There are two ways that I see where they specifically connect. One of the ways they connect is in the aphorisms. The novel connect with aphorisms

There are more significant symbols in the novel such as The Boy. The Man and Boy fight to survive many hardships, but through the darkness there is light, The Boy. He is very mature and cares for every stray person they pass. One person he cares for is a man named Ely, an old man with nothing but the clothes on his back, until he meets The Boy and his father." 'You should thank him you know, I wouldn’t have given you anything' "(McCarthy 173). The Boy wants everyone to survive and is willing to share his supplies even if it means he won`t have all the things he needs to live.
The plot of the book is where one can notice the most obvious connections to the myth.
