I think students valley view high school that are in athletics should get a drug test, because schools will not allow students that play sports and have drugs in the blood. If the students have drugs in their bodies can get out of the sports that they play and schools are not going to risk the pride of the school if other districts find out that students play in under drug conditions valley view district can get in trouble.
High School is an incredibly important period of life. It influences your social, academic, and personal life for four years, and prepares you for college and a career. This is the reason County Prep High School is my school of choice. County Prep's thriving social environment, challenging academic curriculum, and wide variety of electives will help me successfully carry out my plans for the future.
I entered Clara Barton High School of Health Professions in September 2008. This school was widely popular because of its prestigious Licensed Practical Nursing program. The four years of high school was very challenging. When I graduated in June of 2012, I was more than relieved. I was an LPN at the age of 17. Shortly after, a whirlwind of mishaps occurred.
In the hypothetical case, the Rockshire High School official had reasonable cause to search Britney Sullivan’s cell phone for evidence that she and other students cheated on their AP History exam. The administrator suspects Britney because (1) the students scored extremely high on the AP History test (2) Britney has been in trouble in the past and is in the AP History class and (3) a teacher received a reliable tip from another student describing how the students cheated using social media. According to the Supreme Court case (New Jersey v. TLO, 469 U.S. 325 (1985).) the school administrator had the right to search the contents of the student's cell phone, since the administrator had reasonable cause to suspect the student of school policy infractions. The court’s decision in this case is that the student officials do not hold the same accountability of the police under search and seizure. Police are held to the strict accountability of probable cause while school officials according to the Supreme Court have only to prove reasonable cause. In this hypothetical case the supreme court would support the decision of the Rockshire High School administration to search a student's cell phone as evidence for cheating based on the fact that the administrator had evidence to support reasonable cause. The Supreme Court states, “reasonable grounds
During the Olympic Torch passing on January 24, 2002 students of Juneau- Douglas High School in Alaska were allow to go across the street to watch the event. Joseph Frederick and some of his peers held up a banner stating “BONG HiTS 4 JESUS” as the television cameras passed them. The principal of the highschool, Deborah Morse, seized the sign and suspended Frederick for five days for violating the anti-drug policy of the school district. This suspension was later extended to 10 days. The first thing Fredrick did was appeal the suspension to the superintendent. His appeal was denied. Later, in March he appeal to the Juneau School Board who also supported the principal's decision.
Progress is the key element of the math PLC at Mary B. Neal Elementary. The progress will provide vital information to the PLC and administration of the school. Concerning the progress and how it will be monitored, the members will create a monitor sheet. Bi-weekly, the team will meet to review the data of the math classes. During these meetings, members will analyze the progress of all students and see where the misconceptions are within the student data. The PLC will also monitor and assess how often staff members are using a guided math approach to math instruction. With peer observations, the members of the PLC will be able to determine which staff members are effectively using guided math and which need more assistance. Currently, Mary

The fresh dew in the air, cold and frosty, sent a chill vibrating throughout my body. The sun peaked out from behind the mountain, yet the tint of bleak darkness remained in the sky. Subsequent to the prolonged drive, we arrived at La Reina High School located at Thousand Oaks, California. We all filed out of the van and Miller, my debate coach, handed me a blue laptop, thin and smooth, with the number six atop. A wave of anxiety broke over me, as we walked in. My mind was clouded and racing with a million thoughts. I had never done this before, and here I was at my first debate tournament. Debate was a very prominent part of my life and I was strongly determined to earn pride and respect from my coach. As we went into the cafeteria and to
I am completing my second weekly-required meeting and hate this one more than the first. At least the first one was with just my fellow English teachers discussing our summers. This meeting includes the English AND History teachers. Apparently, Bonnie-Leigh High thinks the two subjects are closely related and feels they should have their meetings together to discuss freshmen. I still don’t understand why we are discussing the new freshmen class twice a week for two weeks. I could be putting this made time into Aiden. That is if Aiden had any free time. With September quickly approaching, Aiden has done nothing but write and write. Any conversations we have are small and we haven’t actually seen each other in a week, which is abnormal for us.
The tables and data above show that Brown Middle School struggles with having a high percent of students passing standardized tests. Brown Middle School also received a climate score of 1 showing that the school is in need of much improvement. Data about Brown middle school shows that 99 percent of students receive free or reduced lunch. On average, the amount of students receiving free or reduced lunch in Georgia is 52 percent. This information shows that many students at Brown Middle School come from families that are struggling financially. Many teachers hold the view that poverty causes academic failure (Nieto, 2004, p. 58). Nieto (2004) shares that there have been students struggling with money with their family but still achieved good grades because their family and teachers kept a positive attitude (p. 58). One reason why students at Brown Middle School are receiving low-test scores in areas like Math and Science is
The goal of getting students to school on time has started with an all new vigor this year at Taft High School. A new process of scanning IDs of students who are late to first period has replaced the previously enforced method of handing out Pink Tardy Slips.

As many of you know there is some pretty big things going on at Harrisburg High. From the football team all the way to the debate team, but the biggest of all might be the new addition at the high school. This addition is going to be completely for education all purposes. I had the privilege of asking Dr. Lein a few questions about this. One of the questions I asked and that many of you are probably wondering is what’s inside of it. Well Dr. Lein said that its is all class room and science room with a large open area, kind of like a commons, in the center for students to hang out and meet with their teachers. He said that there will be multiple Communication arts and Math class rooms as well. He mentioned that he is most excited for the space
