He can’t wrap his mind around how they’re not together anymore. In the song, “End Of The Road” by Boyz 2 Men, they sing about a man grieving after a breakup. The mood of the song is sad and depressing. The tone of the song is sad as well. He’s talking about how his relationship is over but he can’t stop thinking about it and how they should be together. In the song it says, “We belong together. And you know that I am right. Why do you play with my heart? Why do you play with my mind?”, that shows that he believes that they should be together still.
