I have taught students ranging from five years old to nineteen years of age. Hence, being an educator, I have learned that learning is always shifting, therefore I must keep improving with the incessant changes. I found this job very rewarding, and my excitement for teaching grew. After that, I volunteered to work as a teacher’s assistant for Mrs. Fast, the fifth grade teacher at my school. Friends, family and faith are all necessities of life, but what humans need the most is the ability to make the right choices. On September 11 2001, Lauren Manning’s life was changed forever. Though previously she had learned the importance of perseverance and faith, on that day, she finally knew what it meant and how truly important it was. On this tragic day, Lauren prayed to die because of the insane amount of pain she was experiencing, but chose to fight for the sake of her beloved husband and son instead. Even though Manning had not died, more than 80% of her body was burned and she now faced the challenge of embracing her altered life. Throughout her struggles, Lauren clung to her inner strength and faith to pass this test of human endurance.

Anna Christine is a 13 year-old singer from Henderson, Nevada. When she was 10 years-old, she competed on "America's Got Talent". She stated that she spends a lot of time playing the piano. Lauren Kalman is a contemporary artist whose pieces captivate an assortment of the human’s body functions illustrating abnormalities, societies ideology and others. Kalman was raised in the Midwest where she obtained a Masters in Fine Arts and Technology from Ohio State University. Kalman also has a Bachelor's Degree in fine arts, in metals from Massachusetts College of Arts. Kalman also did an apprenticeship for two years at the Institute of Sculpture. She currently teaches part time at various universities, including Brown University.
