Angelina and Sarah Grimke were legends in their lifetime. The sister made history, speaking to mixed crowds of men and women. They advocated some of the most powerful anti-slavery paths, and the rights to a women’s public role. Their movement was not only aimed to end slavery, not to help racial discrimination throughout the United States. These ideas made them more sincere than many other reformers who advocated to end to slavery. Other advocates did not believe in equality for freedom and women. The Grimke sisters were also one of the first abolitionist to recognize the importance of women’s rights, while speaking and writing about the cause of female equality.
Anna Cathryn Nowak was born to David and Wendy Nowak on Thursday August 29th, 2001 at 2:11pm in Hazleton General Hospital. Anna measured 20.5 inches and weighed 7 lbs 14 oz .Her name honors her father’s grandmothers. Grandparents are John and Carol Sessock and the late Robert and MaryAnn Nowak of Freeland. She will be joining an older brother Shane.
I’m Kallie Sweere one of the 8th grade students from Detroit Lakes Middle School. On December 21st DLMS 8th graders got together with other social classes. We got in groups of three, my group was Abby Brininger, Porsha Hermanson and myself. Thanks to the Detroit Lakes Rotary Clubs we gave $25 to people in need. How this works is we loan $25 to someone who needs it and they will pay us back.

Anyways, Stephanie is currently in her 14th year at Southeastern and serves as the Assistant Athletic Director under Drew Watson. Beginning in the athletics department in January of 2014, as the Director of Operations. Most people will never have the experience of being a Black male, I personally never had to bear the struggles Black men encounter on a daily basis. However, I have been exposed to the weight and implications of a “Black male in America”. My most recent interaction has been with my current boyfriend, Kelsey Wilkerson. He has been through a lot in his 22 years here on earth. He lost his father at the age of six months. He grew up hearing family members describing the qualities and physical similarities he share with his deceased father. He often described hearing these stories often made him feel bittersweet; it brings a gigantic smile to his face, but it is sad because he will never have that father/son relationship. My name is Sammie Spisak. I was born on July 19,1999 in Bridgeport, CT. I grew up in Fairfield, CT and I am the oldest in my family. I have two younger siblings, who are twins named Matt and Molly. They both just started their first year of high school. I have two dogs Georgia and Sophie, both Tibetan Terriers. My mom and dad both grew up in Fairfield. Julia Zalewski, the founder of the Polish band, “Polskie Nadzieje” (Polish Hopes), has been an active member of the Polish People’s Home Association. We had patroned the band to perform at our functions as non-profit entertainment, cultivating polish traditions, musically and vocally. Julia’s most recent performance was during the 90th anniversary of the Polish Peoples’ Home Association, where previous presidents and members of the organization, Windsor councillors and politicians, were present. As a community, we are proud of the band, and Julia, as it’s lead performer and founder.
