Being a citizen isn’t just being a part of an American society it’s much more. You have responsibilities and duties that you must do. If they do not do these duties, you hurt other people financially and can create problems with the system and government money. There are some people that do this to and rely on everyone else to support them. One of the biggest responsibilities of an American citizen is paying taxes. Paying taxes goes towards building new roads buildings and helping with healthcare and other benefits. When people don’t pay taxes then new roads cant get built and they mess with the system.
