Felix zones off as he is receiving his instructions. The trainer slaps him back into reality, clearly angered by his behavior. Then, the referee goes to sound the gong.
BONG! BONG! BONG! ROUND 1. The crowd is quiet as the brothers circle the center, looking for a position to strike. Suddenly, Antonio rushes close and throws a distant punch. Felix easily dodges.
“Good luck.” they say at the same time. “You may have dodged that, but be ready for this next one.” Taunts Antonio, clearly showing no mercy. Felix doesn’t care, and instead focuses on the fight, deciding not giving in on the first round. The count chants Antonio’s name as he throws a few more punches, Felix only getting hit by one or two of Antonio’s power-packed punches. The …show more content…

Felix goes to flatten Antonio’s face, but Antonio is saved by the bell. BANG! BANG! BANG! As round two ends. The two head back to their corners. “Wow, you almost won that. Antonio looks a little fatigued after what you almost did to him. But so do you, so maybe gain a little strength back at the beginning, ok?” questions Joe. “Easy.” says Felix feeling assertive. Over in Antonio’s corner, his trainer shouts at him, showing anger and disgust, “Boy, step it down a level! He knows you’re fatigued, and you won't win if you don't rest during the start.” But Antonio doesn’t listen. As the doctor gives a thumbs up to verify that the two boxers are good to fight, the gong rings as the third and final round starts up. The crowd is shouting the two fighters names, fighting with their words. Felix and Antonio step into the square. Antonio rushes at Felix, ignoring his trainers advice. Felix dodges the first punch by a thread, but then gets punched in the nose right after. The crowd cheers. Thirty seconds later, Felix closes in on Antonio, pounding his face with multiple blasts from his fists. He lures Antonio to the other side of the square, getting ready for the knockout. “See you on the other side, amigo (friend).” Says Felix, right as he slams his fist into Antonio’s temple, knocking him out. The referee stops the round, and shouts, “And the winner is…! FELIX!” holding Felix’s hand high into the air. The crowd shouts with excitement, and a few
