The movie The Fast and The Furious uses the Three Act Structure. In Act I, all the main characters are introduced. The current relationships between them are demonstrated and the conflicts between them are shown. The goal of the protagonist, Brian O’Connor, is finding out who are truck-jacking through earning the respect from Dominic Toretto and obtaining the girl, Mia Toretto. The first turning point is when Brian helps Dom escape from the cops, in return Brian earns the respect. In Act II, the complications for the protagonist of the movie are demonstrated and the number of obstacles and conflicts increase. It is revealed that Brian is an undercover cop. Brian accuses the wrong gang and get’s given a deadline due to the drivers arming themselves. The climax of the movie is when the protagonist achieves their goal. Brian finds out who is preforming the truck-jacking through having to reveal he is a cop. In Act III, new conflicts that have emerge get settled. The dénouement of this film ends happily for Dominic and Mia Toretto as Brain O’Connor lets them flee. …show more content…

The way the audience was introduced to Letty, Michelle Rodriguez’s character, was through the way she exited her car. The camera panned up from her toes to her head explaining who Letty is by the way of her outfit. She was wearing black platform shoes with red flames, low-rise camo pants with her underwear hanging out the top of them, a red spaghetti strap crop top, black sunglasses and had her hair pulled back in a low ponytail. From this the viewers can tell Letty is a rebel with a tough girl demeanor and is a tomboy.
