Pollution has no boundaries and can never be controlled, it seems as a health issue rather than just environmental issue. The factors affecting pollution are vehicles, Industries and forest fires and due to these factors, the environment is contaminated and affects the natural characteristics of the atmosphere. India is facing quite a serious pollution problem in many cities such as Delhi, Gwalior, Allahabad, Patna, and Lucknow according to the reports of WHO and with the recent problem being in Delhi where the air pollution spiked beyond acceptable levels being the 11th most polluted city in the world. This severe pollution problem affects the people who are already healthy while it affects more to the people with existing diseases. However, people cannot migrate to other cities due to the pollution problem and as an alternate solution they started to use the expensive indoor air filters.
2.2 Why Indoor Air Purifiers
Leading organizations such as EPA, WHO and Health Canada, has recognized that polluted air may lead to immediate and long-term health effects, including respiratory diseases, heart disease and cancer, to overcome this people have started using air purifiers which removes contaminants from the air in a room. Moreover, they are used to remove 99.97% of common pollutants using its HEPA Antimicrobial filter system, and a carbon system, eliminating airborne pollens and dust particles.
Ozone is virtually one of nature's maximum robust air purifiers, the very best
One of the main cause of air pollution is human activities like mining, construction, transportation, industrial work, agriculture, smelting, and some others. There are also natural causes that result to air pollution also such as wild fires, volcano eruptions. These are even rare and for the most part only affect the area that it surrounds. The bigger problem is going back to us humans and knowing that we can stop certain activities to help better the world and our air we breathe every day. One of the “invisible killers” in today’s air pollution includes nitrogen oxides, ozone, and very small particulate matter. (Frank) Today, PM has been researched to be held most responsible for most of the health effects caused by the air. Fossil fuel combustion is most common in more of the urban areas, which would come from the road construction that occurs quite frequently. (Frank) There has also been a rise in deaths from cardiovascular and respiratory disease with older people. (Seaton)
Air pollution is the result of many human activities- burning fossil fuels, agriculture and industry all contribute to polluting the air we breathe. Human actions are damaging the Earth’s atmosphere; but pollution not only harms the environment, it also damages our health. According to the World Health Organization, 1.2 million deaths each year are caused by air pollution. Because of the risks associated with air pollution, we should all be aware of the pollutants and polluters in our communities.
The environmental issue for my Milestone project is Air pollution. Air pollution is the introduction of particulates, biological molecules, and many harmful substances into Earth 's atmosphere, causing diseases, allergies, and death to humans, damage of other living organisms like animals and crops, or the natural environment (National Geographic, 2016). Georgia air pollution has been a focus for many years. Environmental protection Agency and Clean air act has been one of the main contributors to controlling environmental air pollution from increasing. The research is on scholars, chemicals and gases connected to air pollution and health hazards. Solution for Georgia is conserving, alternative energy and renewable resources.
You can’t escape from it. Everybody has to breath, and when air isn’t clean you health is affected. Air pollution is problem of all of us. You might think that you are healthy because you eat, and do only healthy things, so you cannot be sick, or get cancer, allergies or even die. Everybody is affected by air pollution.
Unfortunately, the air has been polluted through various activities including emissions from industrial and manufacturing activities, burning fossil fuels, household and farming chemicals, carbon monoxide, and nitrogen dioxide among others. Although there have been many attempts across the world to solve the problem of air pollution, it is evidently clear that these measures including the state and federal laws are not enough to end this problem without everyone’s involvement. At present, many nations appear to strive towards ensuring that the air is clean. However, because of continuous industrialization and necessary urban development, the atmosphere progressively experiences increase in air pollution. Nations as well as the entire world will be able to reduce pollution levels if not eliminated to reduce the burden of disease such as stroke, heart disease, lung cancer, chronic and acute respiratory sicknesses including asthma if they are aware and educated about the causes and the health effects of air pollution.
Environmental quality contributes significantly to the liveability of places due to the impact that air pollution, waste and Water quality which negatively impacts the livability of the environment and us humans. Environmental quality can change in many different ways such as the climate change. There are many different types of pollution that negatively affects the environment and our environment and the animals and humans inhabiting it. The environment is also affected by waste such as sewage, rubbish that could damage the environment and its animals, and in the process, it may generate methane gas.The rubbish and sewage cause extinction of marine species if flows in the water.
Growing up with busy parents lead me to look forward to car rides. I remember that I would rush to the car in pure excitement, so that I could view the beautiful skies dashing passed me as I talk to my parents. It did not matter where we would go as long as I got to be in the car with my family. Music peacefully played in the background as the sun set and my eyes would grow heavy, then I would soon be sound asleep. It was not until recently, when I visited New York City, that I fully awoke to the harsh reality of automobiles. My memory of the once magnificent skies in Oklahoma darkened by smog I witnessed in New York City and the music could no longer be heard over the loud noises of destruction.
Pollution is a major problem that has and is causing devastating impacts to people and the environment. It comes in many different forms such as water, air, noise, and light, all of which affect our society in different ways. The focus of my essay is specifically about air pollution and the effect it has on our society, as well as ways of preventing it from hurting future generations. Air pollution is most commonly caused by the burning of fossil fuels, agricultural activities, and exhaust from factories and industries. Many governments have already implemented air quality standards to protect against health and welfare effects. Unfortunately, these standards aren’t enforced properly and air pollution is still a major problem in today’s society.
To the untrained eye a person may say what does air pollution has to do with an ecosystem? This is very simple, but to further explain we have to define air pollution and ecosystem. According to eschooltoday.com an ecosystem is “An ecosystem includes all of the living things (plants, animals and organisms) in a given area, interacting with each other, and also with their non-living environments (weather, earth, sun, soil, climate, and atmosphere) (eschooltoday, 2010). Air Pollution according to http://eschooltoday.com “occurs when gases, dust particles, fumes (or smoke) or odor are introduced into the atmosphere in a way that makes it harmful to humans, animals and plant. This is because the air becomes dirty (contaminated or unclean) (eschooltoday, 2010). As we look at an ecosystem it basically means ecological systems, in which ecology is the study of ecosystems. This includes the life cycle of living things and how those things interact with each other and the surrounding land, whereas air pollution is toxics and gases that can harm those living things and the environment.

Air pollution not only affects our health but also has huge impact on the well being of the planet
Pollution is the introduction of harmful substances or products into the environment. It is a major problem in America and as well as the world. Pollution not only damages the environment, but damages us also. It has cause many problems ranging from lung cancer to the greenhouse effect. It is all among us but we continue to live in our own filth. What is the reason behind this flawed logic? In this paper I will examine the problems and solutions for this issue.
Earth is the only place in the universe that can support human life. It is very important that we realize this fact and take very good care of it. Various human activities cause the destruction of earth. Human beings can live a few days without food and water however humans can last only a few seconds without oxygen. Various human activities lead to the aggravation of the quality of air. Gases produced by human activities mainly due to exploitation of resources and industrialization cause air pollution. Green house gases mainly chlorofluorocarbons; carbon
When looking at air pollution, we can see that there are many types, one type is acid rain. Scientists have discovered that air pollution from the burning of fossil fuels mainly in power stations and industry in countries such as Germany, United Kingdom and other economically developed countries is the major cause of acid rain. Acidic deposition or acid rain as it is commonly known occurs when emissions of sulphur dioxide (so2) and oxides of nitrogen (no) react in the atmosphere with water, oxygen and oxidants to form various acidic compounds, sunlight further accelerates this process with the introduction of heat. These compounds then fall to the earth in either wet form (such as rain, snow, and fog) or dry form (such as gas and
Pollution has become a major issue over the years because it contaminates the Earth’s environment and affects human health. While some environmental pollution is a result of natural causes such as volcanic eruptions, most is caused by human activities. The increase of various types of pollution has made cancer pollutant more prevalent among the people, raising the risk of getting cancer. After being exposed to theses pollutants, the effects may be immediate or delayed. Some of the delayed effects, due to the exposure, can go unnoticed for many years. Another major issue that pollution creates is the tremendous cost for preventing and cleaning it up. However, we can not regulate the pollutants to the extent where there are no more possible
