Academics, Attitude, and Effort are what I learned to help me achieve my targets in high school, and will be the same for college. What I want to experience at CBU is their immense amount of resources that will benefit me in a major or career that I want to be in, however, right now I am undecided. With my attitude at CBU will help me experience great effects on what I could do to exceed in life. With my effort I know my experience will be a tremendous including social life, so knowing I will get to know my professors with the ratio being 17:1 in almost every class at CBU.
There are several things I hope to gain from my experience as a student at California Baptist University. Such things include, a community of God loving, supporting and encoring friends, a Christian based education and opportunities to grow into the person God created me to be.
UCLA offers a lot of opportunities to get out into the community and earn credits for service. Volunteers clean up the state parks and paint schools to strengthen their relationship with the community. According to Washington monthly UCLA is one of the nation's top universities for public service in their
The admission requirements for University of Southern California are rigorous, fastidious, and highly competitive. The admission process takes into a consideration of factors. In addition, only 18.02% of student applications are accepted out of 51920 each school year. Surprisingly USC doesn’t have a preferred GPA range for their applicants but, their average GPA is 3.8 (Naviance). Many students who applied to USC were in the top 10% or at least top 20% of their high school class. Thus, concerning SAT scores, the lowest combined score was a 1910 with the highest being a 2225, and lowest combined score for the ACT was a 29 with the highest being 33 (Naviance). Among other things, an essay is required to be admitted, something that can be taken very serious because it can make or break if you are accepted or not (USC). Along with doing essays, you also need letter of recommendations, its best to get them from
Going to college, is where your journey in life really begins. Choosing the right college for you is one of the biggest decisions you make in life. I choose California Baptist University to enhance my studies, meet people pursuing the same passion as I am, and become closer to God.
A man once said “The direction in which education starts a man will determine his future in life.” The California state university will send me on my path to my future. California State university, the Northridge society, one of the best technology schools and should allow me to have the best education.
Attending Kennesaw State University has been a very rewarding journey. As a current senior in college, I have been given the chance to experience the University environment. An environment full of my interaction with my fellow classmates working in study groups and tutoring sessions. Also having the option to sit in on my professor's 2nd lecture that you did not understand fully during your class period.
Loma Linda University stands out for many reasons. First of all, the faith that is embodied within the university community is very appealing. Connecting people who prioritize faith in their daily lives results in establishing a healthy network of individuals who value one another and work closely together. This not only allows students to be great team players and helps residents support each other, but also aids me to incorporate my faith in becoming a successful orthodontist in the future. Loma Linda also provides an opportunity to continue serving the community by participating in mission trips and community outreach programs. From a very young age, my family has harvested the need of using my talents to serve others. This has led me to
The diversity and location of NC State is what draws me to this University. From the first moment I stepped onto the campus, to the tours and talking to current students, I felt the excitement of the campus. NC State is a rich community that is strong because of the variety of classes, teachers, students, and activities, and for the array of perspectives and experiences. From attending a small school in a small town, then transitioning to a larger high school, this feels like a natural next step.
There are over one thousand colleges in the U.S, but the University of Southern California is the college to attend for various reasons. USC is a well rounded school that provides a variety of clubs, activities, scholarship opportunities, and academic classes. The faculty and staff of the University of Southern California work hard to make each student that attends successful and well-prepared for the working environment in the near future.
I love how UNC Wilmington’s population of students was so diverse. I knew coming out of high school I wanted a fresh start and I wanted to make my own way into this world. I felt like UNC Wilmington was the best place for me because it was going to allow me to do just that. The diverse amount of students meant that I was going to meet so many new people that were different from the people I had known all my life. Compared to the other schools I visited, UNC Wilmington stood out to me more than the others. The whole staff was so much more welcoming and helped me really feel like I was already a part of the Seahawk family. I think the staff reflected the atmosphere of UNC Wilmington and really made me want to work hard to be accepted into the school. I am the type of person where the size of the school really matters to me. I did not want to go to a school that I knew was so large in size that what I did was not going to matter. I think the main reason why I fell in love with UNC Wilmington is the size of the school. I know that at UNC Wilmington I will be given the chance to get to know my professors and to be
The University of San Diego is the most picturesque and interesting school I have ever seen. The amazing campus flows on top of the massive hills and above the amazing city of San Diego. From any building or road on campus, you can get a view unattainable anywhere else in the world. The attribute though, that separates this university from all others, is the history behind it. The rich religious history gives every part of the campus meaning, not found at many other universities in America.
The reason I chosen Tarleton State University is because Tarleton is about helping and supporting everyone. Being a supportive to an individual’s dreams and goals is what set Tarleton apart from any college in my mind. All the staff here want to see every student pass with flying colors. At Tarleton “love” is truly shown, if an individual attends Tarleton the individual will fall in love with the support and history. Tarleton also showed me even if everyone supports an individual it must be the individual’s job to support their self.
I know I told you that I am thinking of transferring to CSUMB. So, I made a pros and cons list and everything seems to strengthen my decision of going to CSUMB. I was previously accepted to CSUMB and I just have to send them my UCLA transcript and sign a few papers.
Loma Linda really cares about their students and wants them to succeed. The CLS program has a 100% graduation rate and 98% employment rate over the past 3 years which encourages me that I will be able to finish the program. To some students this might be seen as a reason to slack off once accepted but to me it makes me believe the school will stimulate all students to work harder and be able to really be able to understand all the information needed for future success in this career. There is a lot of coursework and the demands on the students is very high. This does not intimidate me because I am up to the task of working hard and keeping up with all the demands that they will have for me. It eases my worry when I consistently hear about the
