It’s my opinion that the victim and someone else may have known that the residence was not at home. Therefore, they decided to use his hot tub for a late night party. Furthermore, there were no clothes found on the scene which means either someone placed him there because the cover was on top of the hot tub and they took his clothing with his identification in it or he and some other people were there and they took his clothing.
Unfortunately, it does not take a lot of water to drown. Therefore, either he had some type of condition that caused him to not be able to get out of the water such as falling asleep, drunk, or someone else drowned him. At this point from the information we have there is no evidence of any wrong doing. Therefore, we would have to assume that he was put in the hot tub or had

It was done so that the police could not find the actual murder scene and the offenders could get away with murder because the actual investigation will start where the body was first find. Therefore, he was placed there as a cover up because the owner did not find the body until he removed the cover from the hot tub. Furthermore, by placing the body in the hot tub it would stop the body from smelling and no one would realize the body was there until they remove the cover.
The victim’s death would first be ruled a homicide because he was find face down in the hot tub naked with the cover on the hot tub. Now until a full investigation is done as well as an autopsy the actual cause of death could not be determined. Therefore, if his death was in fact an accident there was someone with him when it happened but considering they were on someone else’s property without permission they could be charged with trespassing and did not want to get in any trouble. Therefore, they took everything that belonged to him and left the scene to keep from getting in

Gaad’s friend, Dennis Aderholt, suggested that they should remove the cover and use the hot tub. So, they removed the thermal blanket, and then Aderholt turned on the hot tub using the bubbler start button. Gaad, an eleven-year-old, approached the hot tub and started climbing the steps of the platform. While Aderholt, an eight-year-old, was watching, Gaad slipped from the stairs, hit his head inside the hot tub and immediately fell unconscious. Aderholt could not pull Gaad out of the hot tub and consequently ran to get assistance. He stopped beside Beach Lane and flagged to a police patrol. A police officer, Stan Beeman, rushed to the location and saw Gaad unconscious inside the hot tub. Beeman pulled Gaad out of the hot tub and performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Then, Beeman called medical assistance and an ambulance took Gaad to Cleveland Medical Center urgent care unit. Gaad was breathing through a respirator and expected to sustain permanent injuries. Gaad’s parents admitted that prior to the incident they prohibited their son from going to the beach
