Identity is an individual and personal thing for everyone. Someone's identity makes up who they are and all of the parts of their life. But does everyone truly understand their identity? Do humans have to look for it or is it already in front of them? Identity is something in a person's life that we hope to further understand and get a deeper knowledge about, unless we walk the earth wondering who we really are. Without identity no one would be able to comprehend who they are and all of their unique traits and qualities.

Who else would I be able to rely on when I’m having a bad day or I need some extra support in my life. It's almost impossible to explain the amazing encouragement that one person can give and the light that they bring into your life when you thought it was dark. Friends can even show you what your identity is. They bring new things into your life that become apart of your own and help you remember who you really are. When I was in elementary school I didn't feel like I fit into the crowd. I was picked on and taunted a lot and would spend a lot of my days at school sad and not having fun like everyone else. I felt like I had very few friends and would stay in for recess. This continued through middle school, where I spent most of my lunch periods in the library waiting until class began again. Even the bus rides were rough for me and I couldn't wait until I got home so I could be alone in my room. But suddenly in junior high, with the help of supportive friends, I learned to love school and looked forward to going each day. I’m still very close with the people that have stuck with me through elementary school and could not be more thankful that they have affected my identity for the better and made me the person I am today. They introduced me into my love of playing sports, which I am devoted to and spend majority of my time doing
