Physical Therapy and Personal Trainer After high school students are forced to make the hardest decisions of their lives that will affect them in the future drastically. Students will have to consider what they want to work in for the future. While some students know right away what they want to do, others take longer to pick their careers. When it comes to choosing the career, it is important to consider the factors that are more important for you. Examples like do you want to help the society, care about money, and even the conditions you work in, are factors that people consider are important for them. The truth is not all careers are the best and have nothing bad about them. The disadvantages of becoming a Personal Trainer is that they are “responsible for safety, injury prevention and emergency care administration” (Things Every Personal Trainer Should Know). This means that trainers have to remain up to date on research topics by demonstrating competence through ongoing education. On top of this Personal Trainers have to themselves be fit and have a healthy body. It would be ironic if someone who is overweight is trying to convince you to work out and get fit. As for Physical Therapists their disadvantages are more crucial. Physical Therapists have to “learn how to get the public to know about us both from an individual standpoint, and as a profession” (The #1 Thing All Physical Therapists Need to Know). To succeed as a Physical Therapist, they need to learn how to market themselves. People would need to know who is the most qualified/best Physical Therapists so clients can visit them. When choosing a career, you need to evaluate the struggles you will face and if you would be able to handle them. Between these two careers Physical Therapists have the worst
