Did you know that women in the United States did not have the right to vote until the year 1920? Exactly 144 years after the United States was granted freedom from Great Britain. The women’s suffrage movement, however, did not actually start until 1848, and lasted up until they were granted the right to vote in 1920. Women all over the country were fighting for their right to vote in hopes of bettering their lives. In America the citizens defended women's rights. For example in 1820 on February 15, Susan B. Anthony was born. In 1852, she dedicated her life to women's suffrage and led the women's right movement. While she was fighting for women's rights she ignored all of the opposition and the abuse she was getting because she was standing up for what's right. During the late 19th century, women were in a society where man was dominant. For many years, women have not experienced the same freedoms as men. Being a woman, I am extremely grateful to those women who, many years ago, fought against social standards that were so constricting to women. Today, women can vote, own property instead of being property, live anywhere and have any career which she may choose.

Before 1880, women did not have as many rights as they do today in the United States of America. Women were not able to initiate divorce; they did not have custody over their children; they were not entitled to their own wages; they could not vote; etcetera. This movement was necessary to create a more just and fair society for Americans because women deserved to be treated as well as men were. These things were changed as a result of many suffragists who fought for women’s rights for years. Three women who devoted their lives to gaining equal rights for women were Susan B. Anthony, Lucy Stone, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Without these women among others, women in America would not be treated as they are today.

Women’s Rights was and still is a major issue throughout the entire world, but more specifically, in the United States of America. Women have been treated unjustly for awhile. From being beaten by their husbands, to not being able to own property if they were married, women have been through it all. Many of these situations started to change because of a group of women that decided to stand up for what they believe in. A few activists that helped improve the rights of women are Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, and Lucretia Mott.

(Anthony 42).Although we as women have equal right to vote now and it don't feel like a big issues but it was at one time. That period of time was in the late 1800's. Not only were women not allow to vote in the United States, but they could even be fined and arrested for their offense. Susan be Anthony was one of many women who was a campaigner for women rights. Also Elizabeth Caddy Stanton along with Susan be Anthony devoted their life to achieving a goal for women to vote.

As the capital of Argentina, it is very diverse with culture and brings in many people from a lot of other countries.

Argentina is a stunning country and it is one that should sit high on anyone's bucket list. There's a challenge, though, when planning a trip because the country is so massive it's difficult to know where to start or end up. It's difficult to narrow the tourist attractions down to just 5 because there are so many, but we dedicated ourselves to choosing the absolute best and here's what we came up with.
