In America the citizens defended women's rights. For example in 1820 on February 15, Susan B. Anthony was born. In 1852, she dedicated her life to women's suffrage and led the women's right movement. While she was fighting for women's rights she ignored all of the opposition and the abuse she was getting because she was standing up for what's right. She also campaigned for the abomination of slavery.
