Bulacan, Patrisha B. BSP-2A 1. Cite specific scenarios in the movie wherein examples of the following theories can be seen: • Common Sense Theory When Riley attended the first day of school, she was very excited to share her life to the class, but when Sadness touched the core memories, it began to change its value and interpretation. Out of all the emotions represented in the movie, which one do you think has created the most memories inside of you? Explain the details Joy has created the most memories inside of me. Because life would be so boring if I let anger, fear, sadness and disgust to manage my emotions and express myself. Life isn’t always fun and happiness. You don’t deal with it, you need to get out of your comfort zone and make life worth living despite of hardships you’ve been experiencing. I have learned that life isn’t about finding yourself, but creating yourself. 3. Describe at least three “islands” that your “core memory” have created inside of you. Among the three, which do you hope will always stick
After Pollock graduated, she went back to her middle school and saw all the sad kids. She felt emotional by seeing her own reflection, saying: “I wasn’t surprised to find my younger self crying at the back of this or that classroom, or starting up at some adult whose behavior had left me baffled, or wandering the gloomy stairwells, wondering if I would ever find my way out to a sunnier, less confusing, less confining life outside.” (113) I feel

Everyone possesses blissful memories, which are the remedy for difficult times. Sometimes when the cogwheel of life squeaks, I reminisce about happy memories, as if they are vinyl waiting to be played. There is a very recent memory, I think it is perhaps the happiest memory I have, and it presents the most interesting concept which I ponder relentlessly.
Happiness is something we all need to experience more than once in our life. With memories, we can think about all the fun times such as the memory Jonas experienced when he was sledding and there was snow everywhere. “But it was so much fun!” (pg. 105) This quote shows you how much fun and joy memories can bring to
Adding to her grief was the very recent death of her parents due to an auto accident. Their celebration of life services had been held just two days before. They had been people she could always talk to and lean on during her hard times. They had named her Precious since her dad often stated the first time he had been with her Mom, was one of the most precious times of his life.
Running to her Mother’s room as she awakes her. She tells her that she was having a nightmare, and one day she heard a weird noise coming from the backyard, as she went to look outside, she sees a creature looking at her from the a distance, so she runs back in the house while it chases her.
I will always remember this one significant memory because it has made me who I am today. It shaped and sculpted me. I don’t usually care to remember memories unless those memories will benefit me in some way. In this case, it does. Well, within that significant memory there are several other memories that I have created related to the significant memory along the line, along my life span. All these memories are attached but before those memories can even be created, there has to some source that started all those little memories.
There are moments in a person’s life when she wishes she there was a way to remove unpleasant memories forever, to forget either that person responsible of a heartbreak, or a loved one who died recently, or a traumatic event; however, what would happen if there was a process capable of deleting someone’s painful memories? Would a person be the same after the procedure? And most important, is a person condemned to repeat their past if they don’t remember it? Charlie Kaufman’s 2004 script, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, tries to give some insight into these questions by using philosophical themes such as memory and its connection to personal identity, determinism, and existentialism. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind tells the story
The weather was gloomy and ominous outside at Rainysdale High School. Unlike most days, today was the unfavorable day beyond the regular days. The wind outside was loud and eerie, and the wind kept swaying the branches of the trees, which made a crack sound every time the branches hit the windows. Not only was the wind different today but also the students that attended the school on this day. The students usual expression was happy and energetic on rainy days, dissonant from today where their expressions were depressing and gloomy.
The harsh reality of life is explored through the power of memory which paves the path towards one’s
In the middle of the night, Hazel’s screams woke up her sister, Lucille, she had been having nightmares about a haunted house. She then started to tell her sister what happened, like she did every time, but this time the nightmare was different. The nightmare seemed so real but her sister told her to forget about it and go back to bed. It then came time to go to school.

When she woke up, she was in the same location as before. All awake, and couldn’t go back to sleep until sometime later. She decided to go outside again and check if the fireflies were still there. So she got out of bed and was about to check. But wait! Her parents might still be asleep. She was worried she would wake them up again. But she had
