Explain Why We Should Allow Students To Have Cell Phones In School

Students should be allowed to bring they phone to school.. I think this is good because you have some kids that walk to school they be having to call there momma, dad, grandma, or grandad to tell them that they on they way home.. If your child walk everyday after school you would want them to bring there phone to school so they can call you when they on they way home .. I think it is important to bring your phone to school.. You can be in danger when you walking and want nobody be able to do anything thats why I think it is important to let kids bring they phone to school..

Most schools do not allow the use of cell phones in school or in class, so the school feels like changing their policy of cell phone use might be a bad idea. Students could take advantage or miss use the privilege of phones in class. There will always be students who act out in class, but the school must discipline those who do and reward those who do not.

I think phones should be allowed in school. My first reason for having this opinion is because they sometimes need to contact their parents. The second reason is because the phone has many uses. The third reason for my opinion is that students often need to contact the teachers as well.

The final reason to allow phones in a school setting is because they can give schools financial and educational freedom opportunities that were never possible before. Cell phones are amazing tools, and schools have all the power in the world to utilize them to their full potential.

The first reason we should not have phones in school is that it is dangerous. Some evidence to this is that if there is an emergency the kids would call the parents and the parents would rush to school clogging up traffic. I don’t know about you but I don’t want emergency workers late to save us.

In the United States 3 out of 4 teens have cell phones. The ages go to 12-17 of having a phone. 78% of teens have a phone. 95% of the kids have social media on there phone. Even though some people want cell phones in school, other people think otherwise, We should definitely not be able to have cell phones during school because cell phones get kids distracted, kids could cheat off of them, also kids would feel left out if they didn’t have a phone.

In most catholic or public schools, students are not permitted to use or have their phones out during class or even while being on school probity. If a class or a group of students were in need of help and none of the students had access to the door to be able to call out for help, then how would they be able to go to safety?A student or a whole class could get servilely get hurt, all because the school forbid students from having their phones while in the supervision of teachers or even being on school grounds.

Should cellphones be allowed in school? Well, this is a controversial topic. There's two sides to this argument and many parents and teachers demonize cell phone usage in school, parents complaint to teachers to ban cellphones, that their kid is using his phone too much and the teachers blindly follow suit. Without even looking at the advantages of having cellphones, for the sake of their jobs they just put the ban. This punishment hurts even those who can use their phones responsibly. Why should the people who can control themselves have to be punished because their are people who can't. After doing my research I’ve come up with 3 strong reasons as to why phones should be allowed in school. Now, I already know me ranting about cell phones won't have any influence over this decision of the district, the message will just fall into deaf ears. Here we go anyway, the first reason as to why phones should be allowed is that they prepare students for a real world job. I personally think cell phones help than hinder learning, and I hope you do too, but if you don't. Hopefully this essay can change your viewpoint on this age old debate.
