Fashion Design : Design, Art, Movement, And Design

Starting my own business was a dream come true. Designing and creating my product has given me tremendous satisfaction. Although the business is part of my passion, something else was missing. Since I can remember I have always had a love for fashion and design. The feeling I have when assisting friends and family find their style, and the clothes that compliment them perfectly is a feeling that is incomparable.

As a child, I have always been a visually observatory person. Patterns, textiles, and fashion have always been high interests of mine. My childhood consisted of many Barbie dolls as toys, and it wasn't the Barbie dolls that I wanted to play with, but the clothes that I loved to collect and interchange between the dolls. Creating different outfits for the dolls made me feel as if I was making my own mark in fashion. As I grew older, begging my mother to purchase fashion magazines like Vogue, Elle, and Harpers Bazaar were typical and became expected. While flipping through the pages of fashion magazines, I was enthralled while examining the latest trends from celebrities and models. This is what influenced me to want to work in the fashion industry.

My love affair with fashion started years ago, but over these past 2 years it has grown into something so beautiful. Fashion made it’s grand entrance in my life when I was looking over a Chanel catalog along with a few other designers. For example; Vera Wang, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Marc Jacobs, Phoebe Philo, and many more. The designs caught my eye and I was just mesmerized by it all. It literally took my breath away! I always told myself and my family that I will grow to be an amazing fashion designer and sell beautiful, elegant clothing known to man. A worldwide known designer.

The fashion industry is rapidly growing and constantly generating new fashion trends almost weekly. Fashion for some may seem ridiculous and unnecessary; but fashion is not just a meaningless usage of article of clothing or farcical materials sew together for coverage. There is more to fashion than meets the eyes, fashion is precious and significant. It is a reflection of self-image, it speak the ream about who we are and how we review ourselves. Not only is fashion the reflection of self-image but also the reflection of our history as Coco Channel have said, “Fashion is not something that exist in dresses only. Fashion is the style prevalent at a given time. It usually refers to costume or clothing style. Everybody has to wear clothes, making fashion a part of everyday life. The way someone dresses says a lot about his or her personality, age, culture and experience. At times of economic or social change, fashion often changed. The 1920s and the 1960s are big eras were economic and social change were happening. They are both largely known for their fashion.

Ever since I was little my dream was to own a fashion brand. I have always been fascinated by fabrics, designs and outfits. As soon as I left high school I interned at a fashion house for three months and then my fashion dreams skyrocketed into something most times I cannot even fathom. For me, fashion and styling has been something I have always done with so much passion and happiness for the past four years. I have styled so many people for red carpet events and created outfits for them as well. Also writing reviews for online magazines. Styling and constructing my designs into wearable pieces for me, is fun. I see an outfit or a fabric and in my subconscious mind I am already thinking of what to create out of it. Fashion is something that society accepts and adorns in it, fashion is something that tends to change from time to time. Women are the epitome of the fashion and whatever they do, it marks the symbolization of a fashion.

Who doesn't love styles to fashion like Calvin Klein to Gi gi gehee I love art I personally think art is closer to fashion by a long standing point. Its fascinating the texture the culture the style people don't get it it's like love in a way you can't talk about it look the feel. Just the amaze of an painting gives you an impression on your face doesn't matter how good or bad it gives you an emotion and people just don't understand it. I was never into fashion I just didn't get it I thought it was so stupid people dressing up in weird clothes looking like a futuristic superhero it just used to be really dumb but I turned out style is what u need little bit to be successful .

Whatever your impression of fashion, it is obvious that fashion plays an important role in today's society. We are judged by our clothing and appearance on an everyday basis, so why not make the most of our choices?

When I came from my home country, I have not much knowledge about fashion, and even do not know more about fashion brand. I was learning from technology, school and start follows American fashion. In eighteen century, people were also very fashionable as we are mostly seeing in the old films and pictures. Now a day’s fashion is change every spring, summer and fall because people are more creative to do something different. Social media is the main source to develop the latest fashion between new generations. People are follows facebook, twitter, instagram because celebrities, models, and companies share their fashion with public. In the twenty century people have jobs and money that’s why they start spending on technology, and fashion, on the other side there are competition in the fashion industry so it’s difficult to compete it.

I enjoy making sketches of clothing that one day will hopefully be available in stores all over. Fashion designing in my opinion is a way to express the unique side of your creativity, also fashion designing is a career that I believe I can achieve in so highly if I stay focused and continue to putting forth effort in my creations. My chosen major is fashion designing. The purpose of fashion to me is an artistic way of self-expression, it is not only shown through clothing, but a large variety of things like one’s hair, personality and even plastic surgery! It is because, self-expression is more than just what you wear but a way to show your “personality” through fashion.

The fashion design career, has recently emerged as one of the most popular and competitive among young people. Those who actually succeed in design have a very individualistic personal style and don’t follow trends set by others. Having fashion design as your profession sometimes allows you to meet glamorous people.
