I chose to write about “The Walking Dead Opens Its Season in Lively Fashion”, by Mark Dawidziak because, I personally love this show which is the purpose of my choice! “The Walking Dead” is a TV series that is currently beginning its 8th Season this October. This show is based on an apocalypse that takes place following some government experimenting. Their experiments go terribly wrong and zombies are the end result. The author of “The Walking Dead Opens Its Season in Lively Fashion” really pulls in the heart of the story by being so passionate with his own descriptions of the series.

The premier of The Walking Dead caught a lot of media attention from the very beginning, mainly due to the date of the show’s opening night. The very first episode, Days Gone By, aired in 2010 on All Hallow’s Eve.

Toward the middle of the 2 books in the City of Ember Lina finds what look to be direction but she doesn't know from what. The similarities are they are both trying to figure out something and that thing might be important. At the end of the City of Ember Lina, Doon and, Linas little sister Poppy try to get out of ember by following the instructions that told them to go out through the river in the pipeworks on boats. In the book SpiderWick at the end the 3 kids Jared, Mallory and, Simon they build a new house for the boggart because they think they destroyed his old house. Let me tell you a story about a man named Robert Kirkman. He saved television when he made the TV show “ The Walking Dead”. He gave every miserable mind something to watch that when the day comes when zombies come alive, they have something to go off of. The Walking Dead started off as a comic book and proceeded to become a TV show. Robert also makes Over $20 million a year! A lot of money for one guy, yes, but he is better to me than the men who make “Apple”. By giving enough suspense to kill a man, this show has everyone on the edge of their seats and waiting for the next episode. People say that the walking dead is all about the actors, but there wouldn't be any actors if Kirkman hadn't made the show.

This past Sunday, AMC graced us with the premier of Fear the Walking Dead, a spin-off of the amazing, The Walking Dead TV series. While I am not a huge fan of spin-offs in general, I must say that I was impressed.

In real life, humans have many traits that allow us to be considered top of the hierarchical food chain, yet allow us to remain in classifications with animal species – mammals. Humans are a highly developed species, with abilities that surpass nearly all other animals on the planet. This being said, this complexity allows for many conflicts to arise, as well as differing opinions on solutions. Although humans are so evolved, some argue that animal instincts found in humans are still quite prevalent. In The Walking Dead, the virus being embedded in everyone’s brain could be a reflection of humans’ inherent animalistic qualities. If we continue with this analogy, the virus could represent the potential that every human has to become a monster (in a figurative sense in reality, or a literal sense in the series). This furthers the idea that zombie narratives tend to mirror societies fears and anxieties over the condition of the world, or possible events that could occur, all while placing responsibility at the hands of humanity. Although The Walking Dead in particular does not explain the cause of the outbreak, or blame humanity, it does reflect how humanity can take charge of the situation as well as express moral values that humanity should strive

The first part of the premiere will be aired on Friday, June 3 while the second part will be broadcast on June 5, Sunday. Both will have the same time slot of 8:30 p.m. ET.

Robert Kirkman, the show creator, has also spoken about the timelines of both the series but the producers have denied the crossover rumors repeatedly.

There are a multitude of techniques that are used in filming The Walking Dead that allow for the horror show to capture the essence of an end of the world setting and the fight for humanity.
