Federalist Having a federal government in America brings unity and organizes the law for all states. The federalist system revolves around creating a central government, one that brings order for the country and not cause chaos. Even though its main goal is for a central government, the federal system allows an individual to be heard. Federalist system is not all about power. “Federalists a term that opponents, they seized an appealing label for themselves.” (139). the system separates powers into three branches, which limit the national government to have total control. In Federalist No. 51 it states,”…Each department should have a will of its own; … the members of each should have as little agency as possible in the appointment of the members …show more content…

But also, the system will create order for America. “A pure democracy can admit no cure for the mischiefs of faction. A common passion or interest will be felt by a majority, and there is nothing to check the inducements to sacrifice the weaker party. Hence it is, that democracies have ever been found incompatible with personal security or the rights of property; and have, in general, been as short in the lives as they have been violent in their deaths” ( Federalist No. 10). In Madison’s idea here supports that with different or mixed ideas when having a state government can create chaos for the country. Even though, each state will still be able to retain their own culture, language, and laws in their region. But still allow order with a central government to decide overall how America should be run to avoid destroying democracy. Overall the federal system should continue in America because of division of power by the U.S. constitution between the central and state government. Furthermore America will be in order by having the central government above the state government to avoid launching America back to the days of the Article of Confederation.
