Taeyeon’s POV:
I walked towards the kitchen table, greeting the members in the process. As if on routine, I grabbed a plate and took the seat beside Tiffany.
“Morning” I greeted the eye-smiling girl, only to receive a cold shoulder in return. My smile faded as I released a sigh. Knowing her well, I couldn’t blame her. I tried thinking of a way to approach the topic without making the situation worse.
“Mad that I drank some of your Red Bull?” I joked to try to ease up the girl beside me.
“Stupid. Why are you joking around?” She said it in a flat tone, but the crack in her smile didn't leave unnoticed.
“ Well... what am I supposed to do when you’re mad at me?” I folded my arms in front of me and raised a brow to the sulking girl.
“ Instead of making a joke, you could admit you were in the wrong, plead for forgiveness, or something along those lines.”
Back no longer facing me, she looked at me. Her eyes reflected a slight hint of anger, but her face said otherwise as it was soft... comforting in a way that I felt a wave of guilt hit me. Brushing those thoughts away, I persisted with a light mood.
“ You’re aware you’re not going to get any of those from me, aren't you? You can’t seem to resist my lame jokes so I might as well use it against you before you get really mad and nag me”
A smile crept up on my face and I gave the girl a light push teasingly.
“ You’re hopeless, TaeTae.” She released a sigh and I could tell she was raising the white flag. “ How are you
“Did you bring your fake baby bump?” he asked, placing his hand on my flat stomach, resulting in me squirming around in a silly manner. “Why are you laughing?”
“I’m Y/N. Thank you. For, you know.” She laughed; it was a beautiful laugh that I almost forgot to respond again.
"You're drunk, Austin. Go drink some water." I spoke sternly. My only response was a giggle.
“Ayeyo what are you laughing at?” I asked. She told me to shush so she could finish her laughing.
I looked at my friend. She looked back at me. “Just playing around,” I said with a
“i’m sorry” I muttered, mostly to myself as I heard a slight chuckle, an adult chuckle. I couldn’t handle another fight, not right now.
" Are you done interrupting me," she continued. She said many curse words at me, that I couldn't recall.
“Way to act casual during that,” Mandy whispered playfully, a cheeky grin tugging the corner of her lip upward.
“How are you? How is everything?” Daisy stated sipping her tea from a gold cup a bright diamond on her delicate finger mocking me.
“No, I’m sorry,” Leorio replied, self-consciously rubbing the back of his neck. “I didn’t mean...I didn’t mean any of those things I said. I was just so angry…” he drifted off, into silence, his Adam’s apple bobbing as he swallowed. “...but that’s no excuse. I shouldn’t have yelled at
“Oh shut up.” I laughed, ruffling the little hair he had on his head. Wow,
“Why didn't they just show up at the other party?” Carol laughed at my remark.
Jones pulled me towards her, she smiled as she tied the end of the rope to my waist.
"Paine... I'm," she bit down on the insides of her cheeks, "sorry. I really--" Snort. "Am. I didn't know." The corners of her mouth twitched again. He glowered at her.
“There’s no need to apologize for voicing your opinion, Ariana,” I interrupted her, glaring at the one who decided to butt in on our conversation. “And your friend over there is the one doing the insulting.”
