Bearded dragons consume both animal matter and plant matter – they are omnivorous lizards, and in the wild, a bearded dragon can spend hours hunting and foraging to get its fill of enough nutrients to last it for the day. In captivity, it is easy to imagine that a bearded dragon will have little or no trouble getting its fill of food, because reptile keepers can just buy what the critter needs.
This stage in Shrek and Beowulf is quite similar once again. Both of the heroes had to fight different enemies in order to reach the end goal. It just so happens that both of them faced a fire breathing dragon along the way. This further proves that Campbell’s monomyth is extremely accurate.
What's a dragon? A dragon's something a person may have to overcome to achieve the most great. Everyone has obstacles or a dragon that holds them back and make them it seem impossible to complete a goal. In reality, thank god our dragons are not fire-breathing killers like in Beowulf. Everyone has something different they would like to achieve. Whether it's graduating high school or passing a final exam. Some goals may seem bigger or harder to accomplish but really equally the same to others. I'm my senior year of high school, my dragon is to graduate high school and going to college.
Can you grow a beard on-command? I didn’t think so, but a Bearded Dragon can. The Bearded Dragon would make an ideal pet for a couple reasons. First of all Bearded Dragons are easy to take care of because they don’t need a large space, and you don’t have to walk or play with them. Also, Bearded Dragons are cool looking. For example, their throat can expand into what looks like a black beard, and they have a crown of spikes around their head Lastly they are inquisitive creatures, so they like to look around and see what’s going on. In conclusion, Bearded Dragons have all the benefits of an exotic pet and few of the disadvantages.

espite their small size, sea dragons are carnivorous animals and therefore have a purely meat-based diet. The sea dragon uses its pipe-like snout to suck its prey into its oddly tooth-less mouth. Sea dragons hunt crustaceans, plankton, shrimp and even small fish, using their camouflage to their advantage. Sea dragons have numerous natural predators in the south and western coastal waters of Australia but are rarely even spotted to the elaborate camouflage of the sea dragon. Those few sea dragons that are unlucky enough to be found, are usually spotted by large fish. As with sea horses, it is the male sea dragon who care for the eggs once they have been laid by the female. The female lays around 250 eggs onto the long tail of the male sea horse.
"Fighting over power. Like every dragon ever. But it's not their power - it's Darkstalker's, and they want to use it, the same way Scarlet used mine. But that scroll is too dangerous to be in this world. Even if a good dragon controlled it... even if it didn't change that good dragon to have that much power... even if we could somehow guarantee that it would never fall into evil talons... it shouldn't exist. Look how good dragons are fighting over it already. Nobody should be the boss of someone else's magic. And nobody else should ever be hurt by that scroll."

In the book, the author tries to define the dragon and states that it was seen to look like a giant snake. He also explains how people saw dragons as sacred whereby it was seen as some type of guardian to the people and provided them with protection and natural needs like rain. The book also tells of people, who had negative beliefs against the dragons; these were mostly Christians who to some extent even fought with the dragons. The belief that dragons were strong and mighty was seen as true since people who defeated dragons, mostly armies, were remembered as very great men. The popular belief that dragons guard great treasures in their caves is seen in this novel whereby the author states that people in those days tried to enter dragon caves which were guarded by these dragons.
What elements in the story “The Dragon” represent the Freudian Conscious mind? Make sure to provide quotes and references from the story to support your answer. (3 Marks) Throughout the short story, it is evident that at times the psychiatrist retreats to his conscious state often. This is shown when the psychiatrist unwittingly sits in Kirk’s chair and looked at his office as if it were his first time there. Unknowingly the psychiatrist had “moved around to the other side of the circle and lowered himself into Kirk’s chair”. This shows his conscious mind making decisions revealing his true feelings, that the psychiatrist deeply relates to Kirk and can easily put himself in Kirk’s shoes.
They are aptly named due to the use of their gular pouch, a large fold of skin around their neck with conical scales that when extended looks like a beard. This pouch is used, along with a display of teeth, to show aggression when they feel threatened, but can also be used to communicate mating intentions. Their body is covered in rough, raised scales that are used for collecting rainwater as they bend down low and let water trickle down towards their mouth. Their underside has smoother scales that when lying on a surface, can pick up vibrations and sense movement, and in the wild this incredible sense of touch was used to monitor the bearded dragons surroundings. Their eyesight is okay, lacking in depth perception while maintaining a large field of full colour vision, but another surveillance tool at the bearded dragons disposal is its parietal/pineal/third eye, located at the top-centre of the head it can only sense changes in light and dark and is used to warn the bearded
