I recorded the sounds for about 5 minutes and I could hear a lot of sounds I can imagine and reconsider the soundscape and landscape of the Fort Snelling State Park. There were sounds of winds, several different kinds of birds, water, grass when I stepped on, and even sounds of breathes. The Fort Snelling State Park is located in the center of Twin Cities and it is really close from the MSP airport. It is also right next to the highway, so there could be heard various sounds of human resources such as flights which are departing and landing, cars which across the highway, and other sounds from buildings around the park. Because of these reasons, I relatively went to

Fort Pulaski, built by the U.S. Army before the war, is located near the mouth of the Savannah River, blocking upriver access to Savannah.Fortifications such as Pulaski, called third system forts, were considered invincible, but the new technology of rifled artillery changed that.Gillmore emplaced artillery on the mainland southeast of the fort and began the bombardment on April 10 after Colonel Charles H. Fort Snelling was completed in 1825. It was critically placed at a river junction and the intersection of two major fur trade highways in what is now St. Paul, Minnesota. How did the pioneers get what they need? How did the pioneers stay safe? Well back in the day pioneers could find a break. Small buildings called forts were there. The pioneers could trade and be protected. This is what we call forts along the trail. Forts are fortified buildings or a strategic position. But in the days, they were not just used for war and fighting, but some were. One of the more famous forts is Fort Laramie. I was going through the topics that I had for my essay and the topic "Fort Steuben" stood out to me. I was entirely awed about knowing its history. In today's date, the fort is used as a museum. I've never been there, but I did see the pictures of the museum and some of the historical artifacts. The Ohio Historical Marker reads that:

The safest camps were located around Joint Base Myer-Henderson Hall, which was actually made up of three joined bases, Fort Myer and Fort McNair (both US Army) and Henderson Hall USMC. There were four camps that surrounded the Joint Base that went from bad to horrendous. They were camps Alpha through Delta, Camp Alpha being the closest to Fort Myer’s main gate and Delta being the closest to the primary gate to Henderson Hall.
